Is EFFECTIVE CAPITAL TRADING LTD ok with having just a read-only access to my bank account?

Only a criminal would ask, and giving a criminal access to your bank account will ruin your life.

A company that doesn't have its own bank account ? :=)

Any job offer that includes this clause is coming to you from a criminal organisation and they are asking you to take part in a crime using your name and identity. You cannot get away with any crime when it involves using your name and identity.

To cap it all they will then want you to pass on the money to them, for which you will be arrested. It's a very good deal for the criminal organisation, as they get the money - you do the time.

One simple check is to see if you can copy and paste the text on it. The scammers try to hide their sites by making it difficult to find using Google, which also has the effect of making it impossible to copy and paste the text on it. It's not a definitive check, or proof it's a scam, but something to put you on your guard. Most legitimate sites are eager to be indexed by Google.

Boycey, this is a Bimbom-Bump site; all Bimbom-Bump sites ask that. They've been blocking spiders for months now.

I know vx, and it's handy if members of the public have a quick and easy method to check on the legitimacy of a website, and using the method scammers use to hide their sites from scam seekers is quite ironic.

The quicker a member of the public can be put on their guard about legitimacy of an offer, the better.

The site builders make money selling these sites to other criminals and the more the flaws and faults in their construction are pointed out, the harder they are to sell, and the less use they are.
