Is this a Financial Support Agent Job Offer scam?

Hello, I would need an advice on this e-mail which has appeared in my inbox a while ago. It sounds quite suspiciously to me, as the e-mail address in a g-mail address, the names do not correspond, the salary offered is, frankly, too generous, payment method suspicious, etc...

I have posted a CV through totaljobs.com, if that is a helpful info, and here is the email followed by what I assumed was its heading. There is, unfortunately, no website referred to, only the email of the sender.: [email protected].

You are right, it is junk.

"Financial Support Agent" is a common euphemism for a money mule (someone who passes stolen money to scammers). All your suspicions agree with it being a scam. If you apply for the job and the interview is by Yahoo chat, it is certainly a scam.

The Gmail address is spoofed. The email was actually sent from Lithuania. Lithuania is Baltic, not Slavic, but those are sister branches of the language family, there's a considerable presence of Russians in Lithuania, and eastern Slavs are common among the hirers of money mules.
