Job description:
The main job responsibility is to stay logged online for about 2 hours per day, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 11 am. Your main role involves processing immediate payments between our established clients and freelancers that are doing the work for them. Receiving specific instructions from a supervisor and following prompt assignments is of most importance. The position deals directly with processing funds from our clients. Saw this address on a thread as a scam address - be warned!!!

Thanks for posting! If you take this job, you will be transferring money from scam victims to scammers probably in Slavic countries, and your bank account may be manipulated by said scammers. The site is in the process of being reported for fraud.

I have since discussed this sort of employment with my bank and they had warned me that whilst the company may be registered and seem legitimate, the advisor had a friend who experienced such employment and had issues (the nature of which he did not disclose)

I have also looked up the registered address of the company using street view and it seems to be a residential road, with no office type buildings or company names visible.

I would appreciate a reply from anyone who knows any more about this particular company or similar sorts, or anyone who has had experience with such companies.

Unfortunately, your contact at the bank is woefully misinformed. The company is a legitimate registered company, but it has NOTHING to do with the emails that you have received. The emails have been sent by an organised gang of scammers in Eastern Europe, who has just stolen the details of the company.

Nothing strange there - there are many small husband & wife run companies that are based in people's homes. They tend to be personal service companies that IT contractors and similar use for their contracts and have no need for an office.

I would appreciate a reply from anyone who knows any more about this particular company or similar sorts, or anyone who has had experience with such companies.

See above, the company is legitimate, but the job offer is nothing to do with them and is a scam.

itsevice-solutions-limited.org is in the fifth week of being reported for fraud. This gang is in some Slavic area, though they may have members who speak Chinese or Urdu. As far as I can tell, there is no West African connection.

"Financial Support Agent" is a euphemism for a money mule. They're hiring people to receive stolen money and forward it overseas.

You have every right to be angry. It is not unknown for Job Centres to promote these jobs without understanding that they're scams. Not only is the job seeker going to be badly affected but there are the victims whose money is stolen and the companies who are impersonated being harmed. Inevitably the stolen money is sent abroad and UK companies lose the trade for goods that people thing they're buying.

The UK government and law enforcement agencies appear to be woefully ignorant of the scale and nature of this crime and I have seen no evidence of them doing anything to prevent it. The sloppy and lackadaisical attitude of UK authorities is an open invitation to criminals and they're taking full advantage of it.
