This one I saw in a job search website. It seemed legitimate enough however after receiving their first e-mail I sensed something was fishy. After a little more investigation I can tell now that this is a scam. Here's how the job advertisement looks like:

- Responding on a timely basis to staff's inquiries

These guys seem to have gone global with this scam.
I noticed that a similar "company" (universal-deliveries.org) was reported as a scammer in 2005. Seems the same guys have come back with a newly more sophisticated website.

Again, you may notice this job advertisement at your local job search engine but by all means do not send them any information or fill in any form they send you. Report it immediately!

Seems they got caught with the old domain name...so now they changed to another one...

Let me pick at this and see if I can establish some facts.

It looks interesting.

Presumably the second website is an irrelevance and has no association with them as it wouldn't just be the domain name that's changed if it belonged to them. The website belongs to a legitimate company who are not associated with them.

The company they claimed to be in the first instance simply doesn't exist.

The criminals behind the non-existent company want to pretend to be operating like the legitimate company but actually they will be using stolen card details to purchase goods that they can only obtain if the goods are received by someone in the West. They will then expect you to post the goods on to them. This is not how the real company operates and, of course, getting involved in this will get you in to serious trouble.

Hi guys,

I need your help. I applied for this posted job and they sent an email with the application form so without checking about them before, i filled the form with my photo and general info (including my signature and passport no) and sent them via email.

What should i do now? I am worried if this thing can get me in to some trouble in future. Who should i report this to? Police or my bank in Finland? I am just worried that they may use my personal info to get the credit card on my name (or can they)?

They're not going to try to get a credit card in your name. They have plenty of stolen credit card numbers that they're trying to steal money from.

You may get a package and instructions to forward it somewhere. Refuse the package or return it to sender. Ignore the instructions and don't say anything to the scammers.

Here's how their application form looks like. If you take a look at it you will notice how unprofessional it looks regarding the design of the layout as well as the details they require from the employee. Second thing, it looks as if they are trying to convince someone how genuine they are by putting too much proof (all the ticks, stamps, photos. a pretty large photo by the way) And lastly I have never heard an employee tell you how much your NET salary is going to be...not in Finland, cause that is determined by the tax office.

Yes i have received the same application form and unfortunately i didn't even think of going through its content to check if its a real company or not. Guess i am too desperate for the job at the moment :p

I'm not very impressed with these low-life and low IQ scammers. They've even left the name of the company they're trying to imitate on the website and they appear unaware that the UK uses Pounds Sterling not the Euro so it's likely they haven't graduated beyond reading comics.

I won't point out all their mistakes and some of them are common to all these websites that make determining them as fakes a five second job.

Be wary about inputting personal information on any website. If it's a job application and they want sensitive details it's worth spending extra time checking it out.
