It's a scam - no legitimate compnay would use a +4470 phone number. They are personal redirect numbers that look like UK mobile numbers, but can be redirected anywhere in the world.

Definitely a scam. I traced the email, it was sent from Lagos, Nigeria. If you haven't done so already, stop all contact with them. The webdomain shepherdconstructionuk.co.uk will be reported and shut down.

And the phone number that is given has appeared in many previous scams. Two good examples being set by the scammer on viewtopic.php?f=34&t=16557 dated from the year Twenty Eleven. Then the exact same phone number appears on another from mid 2012 on viewtopic.php?f=7&t=47184

The writing is obviously West African, not English, as corroborated by the redirect number. Please post the headers of the email. This is an email-only domain (the webpage is 404), and we need headers to kill it.

It is certainly a scam. As to whether it's a spam, that's a different question. If he collected resumés and sent the same message to all of them at once, it's a spam.
