I received this scam today and I want to share it with you all:

OBJECT: Tranex Drilling & Construction Invitation.
ATTACHMENT: "Police Clearance Applicat... (335 Kb)" and "Tranex Contract Agreement... (518 Kb)"
I did not open the files, so I can not tell you what is written. They could be even a virus, but my antivirus did not detect them as virus.

We have taken our time to study your resume and also made inquiries from your previous employers and colleagues. This helped us come to our decision to employ you. Like you had been told earlier, we will not be conducting any direct interviews with you as we had interviewed the aforementioned. You have been given a designation to match your experience.
Attached is an employment contract, you are to thoroughly read and understand it. If you there is anything unclear to you, please do not sign the contract. Contact me for clarification so as to have a full understanding before signing it. Note that by signing, you are bound to the contents of the contract. Note that you are employed by Tranex Drilling And Construction Inc for the sole purpose of working for us in the UK for a project we are undertaking. This implies that you report directly to Tranex Drilling And Construction Inc, if you have any concerns regarding this process and we will look into whatever concerns you might have.
On your acceptance of the offer, indicated by your signing of the Contract document, the company will initiate the process of readying the necessary travel visa/work permit that will enable you to enter, live and work legally in the UK. However, before we go into doing that, you must get a Police Clearance Certificate from Criminal Records Department of the Police here in the UK on or before the 20th of December, 2013 so that your travel documents will be ready for you to meet up with the joining date.
Note that this Police Clearance Certificate is NOT to be got from your present location but from here in the UK and the cost of procuring this certificate from here MUST be paid upfront by you, as a sign of commitment and readiness to join us. Tranex Drilling And Construction Inc will send you a refund within 5 working days prior to your departure for the UK and by this time, your travel documents must have been ready.
Tranex Drilling And Construction Inc will ONLY begin the process of getting your travel visa/work permit on acquisition of the Police Clearance Certificate. To acquire this certificate, you have to contact the company’s legal Solicitor in Criminal Records Department Office, Barrister Gilberto Cleto. His contact details are in the contract document. He will let you know the procedure and requirement for acquiring the said certificate.
You will also find a Police Clearance application form attached to this mail for the processing of your Police clearance certificate. You are to fill it and return it alongside the signed contract to Barrister Gilberto Cleto for the processing of your certificate. You are to include a scanned copy of the picture page of your international passport and a passport photograph. These are required to begin the process of securing your Labour Certification, Visa and Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
It is mandatory that you must have Police Clearance Certificate from Criminal Records Department of the Police here in the UK. If you do not have this certificate, you are to apply immediately to the Criminal Records Department Office here in the UK with a copy of the signed employment agreement and your completely filled Police Clearance application form and readiness to make payment for the certificate charge which the company will reimburse you when your travel document is ready; therefore it is a matter of urgency that you proceed immediately with this.
