That website is legitimate and nothing to do with the scam- it has been registered since 1998 and is probably the company the scammers stole the details from.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Thanks, Alan! I am glad to learn that website is legitimate. However, it is unfortunate that it is connected with this scam in some form.

idea-tech.com is not run by the scammers. The fake site did not copy the address or phone/fax number from the real site. The name is similar, that's all.

I have received one of the 'JobOffers' from http://ideatechnology.biz/.

Would it not be possible to play these scammers by accepting whatever we are supposed to forward and keeping rather then forwarding? A little revenge on behalf of all the people they have burned.
Do you have information on the methods they use with their new 'employees'?

Thoughts?

Has anyone reading this followed through and accepted the Job and learned details of their duties?

You could do that, but it would probably be the most stupid thing you have ever done and ruin yours and your family's lives.

The money that you receive will be sent from victims of other scams, so the people that you are "burning" will be them and not the scammers. When the victims report the crime to the authorities, it will be your door that they end up at. With all that fraudulently obtained money sitting in your account, it's going to look a lot like you are the mastermind behind the scam and you'll be looking at serious jail time.

Perhaps you should take a look at this thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=80212 to show you the possible result of your idea.
