Email addresses used - [email protected] (Kate Harrison HR) and [email protected] (Louis Amos Supervisor).
The scammers will conduct an interview for a job over Skype, Yahoo or Google chat and at the end will advise the victim that they have the job and that they will be sent a cheque to pay for the software required. They will be told to deposit the cheque and then forward the money to the software "supplier" by Western Union or Moneygram. The cheque is a fake and when that is eventually discovered, the money will be debited from the victims bank account and their details possibly passed to the authorities.
