Hi
I have been approached by this company, which I thought was legit. I have registered with them.They said they have offered me a position as a financial agent and I would work from my home as a part-time and only need the internet to do so. So I registered with them following the link they have provided. The method of communication between us was via the email with Graham. While in the registration process,they have asked me to provide my bank details and I was not comfortable with it so I refused to do so. But then there was another option, which was through paypal. They have asked me if I have an account with them and I said yes. I have told them I use this account for personal use only. Then they were like can you find out if you have any withdrawal limits, it will effect the maximum amount we are going to transfer. I have replied its unlimited. The next day I was assigned by a personal supervisor who would guide me with the tasks I need to perform a day. So I received an email from a lady called Grace and this is the content of the email: ( Please check that all your PayPal Account details are correct (double check, it's very important!):

PayPal e-mail address: removed-dotti
PayPal Account type: Premier
Is your PayPal Account verified?: Yes
Which bank is your PayPal account linked with?: ______________ ?

Do you have a PayPal Debit Card? If not, then please apply for a PayPal Debit Card and let me know as soon as you have done it.

2. Please also confirm:

- that you are allowed to transfer up to £5,000 a day from your Paypal account;
- that you are allowed to withdraw up to £5,000 a day from your bank account;
- and there is no limit on incoming transfers.

3. Also, confirm that your account is active and verified (it sometimes can become inactive due to rare use) and that your bank branch is located in your city/town and you can get there soon upon task receipt.

4. Confirm your availability to work (be online) from 9.00 till 11.00 a.m.
Please regularly check for messages from me. You can be assigned your first task any day soon
(except Saturday and Sunday).

In case of any questions, please e-mail me or give me a call on 02032877149 if something’s urgent.
Sincerely,

Grace Gatford

Upon reading this email I just felt that there is something not right about this this company and this could be a scam or fraudulent company who prey on innocent people and use them to do their dirty work. I quickly searched the name of the company and it didn't exist and then I stumble into your website and read that they are fake and steel identity. I am relieved that it came to this and was not involved with such a people any further. But what concerns me is that I have given them my personal details and phone number. I don't know whether to inform the police in this case or not. Any advise in regard with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Name, address, and phone number are not typically anything to worry about, as long as you didn't give any confidential information, like bank account numbers or personal identity numbers that are intended to be guarded.

You might want to open a new email address and link your paypal account to the new address, simply to reduce the chance of being targeted with phishing emails, but that should be about it.
