How were you originally contacted? I received a similar email a while back . trying to figure out how they got my email

It is pointless you asking members of the support team how they were contacted - they have emails specially set up and seeded on relevant sites to receive scam mails.

If you have ever posted on a jobs board then you are likely to receive scam emails.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Well, you're a bit contradicting. You say there's no point in asking , but answer my question Lol..obviously there was a point then.

Anyways, I thought the idea of this forum was for more experienced members to help people like me not fall victim..if you don't think there's any point in me asking, then there's no point in you replying to this post either.

I told you there was no point asking a particular support team member how they were contacted and told you how you were probably contacted. We go out of our way to receive scam emails by openly publishing email addresses where they will be harvested by scammers - something that a normal person wouldn't do.

If you are suddenly getting an influx of job related emails then (if you're job hunting) it is probably coming from somewhere that you have put your CV recently - scammers will sign up as employers and then harvest as many CVs/emails as possible before they're banned.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
