Currently posting many ads on Gumtree asking for people to contact [email protected]
The "job" is to post ads on ebay showing ridiculously cheap electronic goods, collect payment via Paypal, send payment to the "shipper" via Western Union, and then the shipper will deliver the goods to the buyer.
Of course, there are no goods, the money can't be recovered, and you end up thrown off ebay with possibly subsequent legal / police action.
However, what is unusual about the Gumtree ads is, regardless of the advertiser's name, they all give the same phone number : 0161 818 8149 which looks like a landline. Or is it some sort of redirect ?
