Prometheus - Switzerland Financial Initiative was established in 2013. Since establishment we build strong cooperation between the public authorities and private investors in Switzerland. Prometheus reached great success since 2013 and we expand our business now. The Mission of Prometheus is to contribute to the empowerment of poor people and to the creation of jobs, wealth and economic social sustainability in developing countries by investing in and supporting Microfinance Institutions. We connect people everyday through lending to alleviate poverty. We help people who lack access to money. We helps people reach their potential when they need resources.

When clients come to Prometheus for a loan, most of them are already micro-entrepreneurs. They have enough experience to know that, without additional working capital, their odds of becoming or staying profitable and productive, or of making improvements in their lives, remain low. They are looking for a business loan, much like any other entrepreneur, but at a micro level. For these small-scale businesses, even small amounts of capital can make a dramatic difference. A business loan of a few hundred dollars can enable micro-entrepreneurs to pay wholesale rather than retail prices for the goods they resell, or to buy with cash rather than on consignment, or acquire a more modern piece of essential equipment, turning their businesses into profitable, sustainable enterprises. This small increase in purchasing power can have an immediate impact on a client’s productivity and earnings. For other clients, having a safe and trusted place to store and save their daily revenue is most critical. All of these needs are met by Prometheus.

Prometheus provides clients with a wide range of the financial products and services that micro-entrepreneurs need including savings accounts; group and individual loans; credit life, short-term disability, and hospitalization insurance; and money transfers. These products vary by local demand, and they are adapted to comply with local regulations and culture. Each Prometheus Subsidiary is run by a local team of professionals with intimate knowledge of their market, and it is this localized, client-driven approach that has made Prometheus’s global expansion possible and so effective. Position Description:
The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accounting records for company Microfunds. The key requirements of the role are as follows:

Process matching donation requests
Help with processing credit card receipts
Work with Credit card holders
Ensure the accuracy of all aspects of account processing

Required Skills Qualified accountant Knowledge of accounting software, usage of Netsuite Accounting Software a plus Strong knowledge of Word, Excel

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 plus bonus.

Position Description:
We accept more and more donations of goods. Appliances, Clothing, Household Goods, etc. Your responsibilities will consist of check and keep reporting on incoming and outgoing delivery. Check receipt of delivery against bills of lading, invoices or other record. To keep the record of parcels.

Experience: None. You will have trial period and training. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Self-starter. Demonstrate a high level of integrity, maturity and professionalism and desires financial success. Have good organizational skills and basic computer skills (Word, Excel). Must have ability to work independently as well as be a team player.
Salary: 36.400/year.
