This person contacted me in response to my resume posted on craigslist. Seems a little fishy to me, what do you think?

These were sent through craigslist's email forwarding service.

I am a Payroll Specialist working from home,I use to encounter a lot of stress when going about my daily payroll activities because I work as a chartered payroll specialist from my own virtual home office for many companies, but I need an assistant to assist me on the task that is why I am emailing you. The Job is perfect for anyone who has spare time and needs to earn extra income. The job requires no previous experience in any particular field,no experience is needed and training is provided. As this job is entirely online, you will need to know how to use the internet also this job is a part-time job two hours in any three days in a week perhaps Monday,Wednesday and Thursday or Monday,Tuesday and Thursday and you can choose any preferable hours you can do this.......your job is to print bill payment and envelop it then drop at the
nearest USPS Office or drop off box,USPS will pickup all this bill payment and dispatch it to each address at my expense, once again let me make this more clearer i will send bill payments to you online(email) you will print them and envelop it then drop them at any nearest USPS Office or drop off box and the bill payments will be dispatch to clients at my expenses also none of your information will be included in this.i will give you the instructions and directions to get this done
without any problem.let me know if you ready to proceed. Jones

It sounds fishy. But, then again it sounds fairly risk free since I'm not using any of my own info. What do you guys think?

It's a scam, he wants you to send fake cheques to other scam victims.

As sending fake cheques through the post is a crime in the US, it won't be risk free for you when you are found to be the one sending them

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

This is a scam. The person wanting to hire you is West African, not American, and the checks he wants you to print are fake. Payroll businesses in the USA are regulated and do not hire people to work at home printing checks or hire without an interview.

Did you forget that you asked the same question last year? viewtopic.php?f=4&t=73035&p=169057#p169057

To save you wasting everyone's time and returning in 2015 with the same question, ANY job that involves printing cheques and sending them to people is a scam.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
