Please can you also post any email addresses, websites and telephone numbers that this scammer is using - they will be things that other victims will search for.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Jesus.

I knew this shit was to good to be true. I had been out of work for 2 months and this guy emails me about this job.

I have been working for this "company" for about 4 weeks. I thought this was a little fishy but checked out the website and the manager seemed professional so I kind of waived it off but I am glad I saw this.
I have yet to be paid, tomorrow I am supposed to send in my "monthly report" and then manager said hell process payment within 1 - 3 business days.

Any advise on what to do now that I know this is a known scam? I still have some merchandise and I speak with the manager pretty regularly. I wanna avoid getting into any trouble at all, I have all the emails from day one to back me up that I am a victim. Ugh, I was really depending on that money.

Help on advise what to do moving forward? I plan on reporting them to my police department, and filing a complaint with the FBI. Anything else?

Notify local police and file report with IC3. If any packages came via the postal service, file a mail fraud report with USPIS.

As for the packages themselves? If they are unopened, you may be able to get the carrier to send them back. (if they came by mail and are unopened a simple "return to sender" should suffice. If they are open and contained packing slips and/or invoices, you can contact the company that sent them, let them know what happened, and see if they will make arrangements to take them back.

I think this company and Angela's Electronics are the same people and I hope they get caught.

Hello and I cant believe this, i am in the exact same situation. Today was the day i turn in my monthly report and i thought before i give out my account info i should do some research one more time. Look what i come across, i am so called i came across this i knew it was too good to be true also so im shocked but not completely surprised sadly.

Are you going to get in contact with the so called "manager" of this scam to stop the packages from being sent to your address?
by AlanJones Fri Dec 19, 2014 4:46 am
Don't bother getting in touch with the scammer, he'll just deny everything. If you're due you pay then you've most likely outlived your usefulness to them now, so you're unlikely to get any more packages, but if you do, refuse delivery of them and tell the courier/USPS that they are fraudulent and you are a victim of a re-shipping scam.

See Dotti's post a few up for the other things you need to do to protect yourself.

I don't think so. There are lots of reshipping scam gangs. I just checked all the reshipping sites that I've reported in Russian, and none of the sites match this one. This is pretty clearly not the same gang as Angela. Angela is run by the same gang that ran My Boxes.

ETA: The phone number is in New York City; White Plains is just north of NYC but in a different area code. But a Skype number can be answered anywhere there is an Internet connection.

I filed a IC3 last night, US Mail Fraud report this morning and just now had police stop by so I can put in a report. They seemed not to know of this kind of thing going on, so I had to explain to them what and I showed them the merchandise I still had.

I emailed the scammer letting them know I am suspicious and that I have contacted the police and FBI, see below.

I filed a police report and FBI report because I am very suspicious of your company.

I have given your email and company information.

I will not longer accept any more packages.

DO NOT SEND ME ANY MORE PACKAGES.

I have contacted the FBI and US Mail Service.

to me
Hello John,

I need detailed information in order I could report to security department. Have they told you which package caused the problem ? Have they given you their contact information ?
Please describe what were they talking about.

Orders are sometimes cancelled. In such case package is returned to the shipping company that have delivered it to you using the return shipping label.
In case the cancelled package is already shipped, order processing department will contact USPS directly for return.
Order processing department notifies me about returns within a week. In case there are some misunderstandings between shop and shipping company, order processing department will resolve it directly with shop. I suppose #17 or #19 have been cancelled and somehow shop claimed the package back from shipping company.

I have labels for #10-#16. I will send them to you soon.
Packages should be shipped today. Send me your updated monthly report after packages #10-#16 are shipped.

Leave the other packages until the problem is resolved. I suppose #17 or #19 caused the problem.

Thank You!

Robert Bennett
Staff Manager. CPI Inc.

So even after I said I reported them, he is just worried about getting his merchandise shipped. I did write one last email stating for "Robert Bennett" and "George Forest" please send me there phone numbers and addresses so I can forward to the cops. And I said I would return all packages and refuse to forward any more packages and refuse any more deliveries and that I quit. If he tries to contact me again I will just block the email.
