Personal Assistant Craigslist Scam - [email protected]

Created an account because I screwed up and almost fell for this one. If it wasn't for this website and a smart friend, I would be out a good amount of money and time. He contacted me, I gave him the info, he waited a few days then texted me requesting that I purchase and print checks for him while he's away. It seemed a little odd, and when he wouldn't tell me what program I'd be using to print the checks (Quickbooks, Quicken, Etc.) I searched for the information online. VOILA! Found this post. Below is the exact email. The man's name is Francisco Guzman and the email he used is [email protected]

· Making regular contacts and drop-offs on my behalf
· Handling and monitoring some of my financial activities
· Basic wage is $510 weekly
. Working 5 hours Daily, and 3 Days weekly. ( you can choose your working days as it is flexible )

I am sure you should have understood how busy my schedule should be on a daily basis. Currently, I am in Europe meeting with partners. I will be back in two weeks to arrange a formal interview with you. I think you are the right person for this position. Please note that this position is not office-based for now because of my frequent travels and tight schedules. It is a part-time job, and some weeks you will be busier than others, though pay stays constant. Like i said, I think you are the right person for this job, and think we should get a head start this week. I have some little works piled up that i will need help catching up on immediately. I would like to use this coming week to test your efficiency and diligence, and to work your schedule around mine. Testing your efficiency and diligence for this coming week is to run some errands out to some of the orphanage homes for me, which i do every month. A payment inform of a Certified Check/Money Order will be sent over to you from one of my clients and i have some lists to email you once you received the funds,You will make some arrangements by buying some stuffs for the kids in the Orphanage at any nearest store around you, so you can mail them out. This Francisco Guzman guy is on a rampage. I sent my resume in response to a Craigslist ad for an administrative assistant position and thought their response was a little strange. I googled his name before I replied to the job offer and found this post. PHEW. He didn't ask for my specific but he did offer less money than the others, what a jerk.
