Hello,

I signed an employment agreement with this 'company'. I started receiving packages. I filed out the FBI's internet crime complaint form, but I haven't heard anything from them. What should I do. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

if you shipped or received any packages through the USPS mail , report it to your local US Postal Inspector's office (USPI) find your local one here : https://ribbs.usps.gov/locators/find-is.cfm

Print out all of your emails and whatever else you have as proof that you thought you had a legitimate job. Make copies for yourself and Take all of the information you have about them with you and leave the originals with them. Follow any instructions the USPI's office gives you.

If the packages were shipped using a private shipper, contact that companies fraud department and follow their instructions.

If you still have any packages, return them to the carrier that brought them (to the USPIS if it was USPS), along with printouts of emails from the scammer, including headers.

File a report with your local police as well as the I3C. You want the police to know that you are a scam victim before whoever the packages were bought from contacts the police. Otherwise, you'll be arrested for using stolen credit cards.

Cut off contact with the scammers. Do not tell them you are cutting off contact. Do not tell them anything. Just ignore them.

Post emails from the scammers here, with complete headers. They will go in the next report and hopefully help to shut the site down.
