Letter Translator Scam..Would you please check email for me?

First of all, I am super happy to find your site. I fell for one of these "Letter Translator/ Proof Reader" scam and I have already completed and sent 4 letters corrected and they notified me that I have earned $135 already!! Here is how I got suspicious! First three letters, I diligently corrected it. On the 4th, as the whole deal looked “Too Good to Be True”, I only changed one word in a three page letter and sent it back- saying I proof read and corrected the English. Guess what! I got an email immediately saying I am doing a great Job and the last correction was the best! (The Thugs do not read a thing!! They just fell in my trap)..

The good news: I have not given them any of my personal information or my PayPal account. I was suspicious from Day 1. I was just waiting to find the catch!!

Anyways, here is where I am asking your help! Below is the email that I initially received with a fake job offer. From the email address and the letter, can you please confirm that it’s the same scammers? They claim that they are from a company called VATERA. Most likely it is a genuine company abused by this incredible thugs!!

I brought up the whois record of vatera.hu (it's available only on the Web). It was registered in 2000, which means it's almost certainly genuine. A Hungarian company which has been around for that long and deals internationally would not use a Russian freemail address.

This is a bit more proof that the letter from yandex is an impersonation of the valid website.

it is debatable whether this is a fake check scam, or a reshipping / money mule scam or a little of each. No matter what it is a scam. The fact they remind you twice to send the information to a free yandex email address makes it clear they are impersonating someone else.

I just received an offer letter identical to the original post, but the company was listed as www.qxl.no, which appears to be a legit Norwegian auction site. My personal consultant was the same Julianna Kocsis mentioned above. I'm glad I found scamwarners.com before I started "working" for them!
