Hello,
I applied for a receptionist job on craigslist and I received an e-mail a week later. I don't have the e-mail anymore, but it went something like this.
Hello, The HR department had reviewed your resume for a data entry, admin clerk, office asst, customer car, payroll clerk, etc. and believe you would be a potential candidate for the position. We would like to interview you via online. If you have a yahoo mail account or a google account, add "mike.shaw30@yahoo/google.com" to your messenger. Please message him between 9 am to 8 pm today, your time.
I happen to not check my e-mail that day and missed the timeline, so I just disregarded it, as it seemed alittle fishy anyway. Then about 2 weeks later, now, I receive a text message saying it was Mr. Mike Shaw and he would like to interview me now. so I went ahead and added him and went through the interview, just to seen how it would play out. The interview went about with him talking about their company and what the pay would be. After that, there were interview questions, which were to be answered. After those were answered, he said, he needed to give the answers to the HR department to review and would be back in 10 min. After the 10 minutes, he said I was hired. It just doesn't seem to sit right with me. And then he goes to say that the he needs me address and phone number and that I start tomorrow morning. I would also need to purchase some ink and check papers in order to start the training. he also says
mike.shaw30: They will be shipped to individuals, I will be here to provide the individual's address for shipment and also fedex accounts for shipment so you dont need stamps.
I googled up the company which there is a website: ww.milio.com, and tried searching any posts related to it, but I havent seen one come up. But according the pattern in all the online payroll at home job scams, this seems to fit the criteria.
I would like opinions on what I need to do now.
