Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.

This seems like a very detailed "offer of employment" that will turn into a 419 scam. I checked the website listed in the emal - It looks fairly real - but there doesn't seem to be any pictures of actual projects.

I find it hard to believe that a reputable company would hire someone without speaking to them or interviewing them. At the end of the letter it states that they will send me a check and a credit card. I have pasted the most recent email below:

Dear Removed (BW)
It is my pleasure to inform you that you have been selected to become the Administrative Assistant for the office of the COO in our Downtown DE-Newark Satellite office. Your experience and qualifications match our key criteria for choosing an Administrative Assistant and we believe that interviews do not guarantee success
on the job. You will however undergo a 90-day probationary period which will serve as an evaluation period and also help determine a fit between yourself and MDXX Architectural Group.

Our satellite office will formally open on April 13, 2015 when it must have been fully furnished. The COO and 5 other delegates will arrive in the States on April 10, when you are expected to meet with the team.

At MDXX Architectural Group, we encourage every staff member to give their best, and in return, we ensure our employees' well-being. You will be entitled to the following benefits after completing the 90-day probationary period:
Medical, dental, visual insurance, and bonuses at the end of each fiscal year.

Basic salary $2,000 bi-weekly / $4,000 monthly

2-Week vacation time and pay

Working hours: 9am - 5pm; Monday - Friday

Your job will commence before the official launch of the satellite office, which means you will be required to work in the next three weeks and help as necessary in order to make our transitioning to the States easier. Your tasks for the 3-week period will include purchases of office supplies and furniture, hotel reservation, and car rental for the delegates attending the opening of the office.

Detailed information on how to complete the tasks will be provided and payment in form of a check and company card will be provided to you to cover all expenses and your salary for the first three weeks. Please confirm your information below in order to mail your Offer of Employment Letter (including detailed job description), list of items to be purchased for the office, check, and company card:

It is a definite scam - legitimate employers would provide you with the equipment you need to do the job, not expect you to buy it yourself.

The cheque that they send you will be fake, but that will possibly not be discovered for some weeks or months and by the time it is, you will already have sent the money on to "purchase" the required items. You will end up with the amount of the cheque being debited from your account, possibly leaving you overdrawn and with numerous bank charges and could also be reported by your bank for passing fraudulent cheques.

Please can you post the email addresses and the website that the scammer is using.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

I got the exact same letter on the same day as the other person. I told my fiancé that it had to be a scam because no company would pay anyone a 3 week salary without knowing who they are, no meeting, no info at all! At least I know I wasn't the only one.
