Manager Neiman Marcus

Well for one thing, [email protected] is not my email address.
Then they start with 'Dear Applicant!'. I wasn't aware I'd applied for this job! :? Is my memory going? Erm....
If they've reviewed my resume, a c.v. to us Brits, and are offering me a position, then why do they ask:

If you are interested in our offer, please send your resume completely for further consideration: [email protected]

Also, Nieman Marcus is, from what I can make out, a legitimate U.S retail chain store that has both online and 'bricks and mortar' stores to shop at. (Link removed)
So why would you reply to a gmail.com address?
:yikes:
Sounds like a scam to me. I'm unemployed, not stupid! What does anyone else think?

I have had a quick look and from what i can see it is certainly not a legitimate offer.

the company is apparently a well known company, even google suggests that yet they use free email providers, firstly hotmail to send their initial email then you are meant to respond to a gmail address.

The storyline follows a common scam theme although a couple of things are not quite adding up.

Regardless of what it is, do not reply, there is no doubt that it is not a genuine job offer

Neiman Marcus is a well-known high-end department store chain here in the US.

They are large enough that they have their own job recruiting website, and their emails do in fact end with @neimanmarcus.com

Based on the statement below, I'd say it is looking like a fake check scam right now.
• Manage the day to day financial duties for customers
