If anyone is concerned that scammers may have their personal details and that they are at risk of identity theft, please read this page:

http://www.fraudaid.com/ID_theft.htm

I would also suggest reading the whole site. It definitely contains some very good information and having sent victims to fraudaid before, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I know how you're feeling right now. I am in a very bad situation, now I have all my family looking at me like I'm a dummy. They got me so good, but I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, and they will be aired on Fox2 news real soon. I am really fed up, I don't know what to do at this point.

I would like to see these people brought to justice. I can't believe what a bunch of scumbags they really are. Please I would like some help. I hope no one else falls to their scam. it is a terrible thing that someone can get away with this. If you would like to PM me I would more than happy to respond.

And what channel may that be for us New Jerseyans?? I hope to see them caught. I dont care if I have to fly across the country to be at that hearing, I will. I just want to look the scumbags that took my kids Christmas away and almost cost us our home right in the eyes and just laugh in their faces. I made a promise to them that they would get caught and I would be there when they were prosecuted. I NEVER break a promise.

Hey Genlam,

Welcome to scamwarners, although I'm sorry you had to come in and meet us all this way. Sounds like you've got a fight going. You'll have a private message (PM) from me shortly.

Please read through everything that's been said here, it will help you cover your rear from this lot. I've also put information in the PM about this. Until then, I would suggest that you break all contact with these scammers. Even though you might be moving in for a fight, this is a tricky lot, PLEASE be careful.

I'll be in touch.

These people deceived me out of rent money for me and my daughter. I can't stop crying....I don't know what to do and rent is late! I know an eviction notice is on the way. $1050 of my hard earned money for hopes of a $5000.00 loan. If anyone knows what the next step is, please let me know.

Hi Genlem
I'm sorry that you have been a victim of this scam. The name provided to Money Gram will be fake as scammers never use their real information.

I'm so very sorry to hear that you too have been scammed.

I applied for a personal loan with Cedarbrook Lending Group. A representative called by the name of Henry Wilson, and notified me that I was approved for a $5000 loan, and he needed a working fax to send loan documents to. I provided him with 2 working fax numbers. I never received the documents by fax. So, I called Henry Wilson back again, and notified him that I did not receive anything. He then stated that he would submit documents by mail. I waited 2 weeks, and still nothing came by mail. I then contacted Cedarbrook Lending by email 2 times, notifiying them that they have my personal information and I was told I would receive a loan, and that they have not fell through from there end. They have all of my personal identification, as well as banking information. This company is definitely a scam, and I think something should be done, so that no one else is an online identity theft victim. This company should pay full compensation to those that applied for there actions. I have relayed this information to the BBB, and FTC.

There are so many wonderful people on this site who are working getting justice for all of us. I am so sorry to hear about all you are going thru. Im right there with you so know how it feels. I feel stupid and like I ruined everything for my family. Its a horrible feeling but it also gave me the strength to stand up and fight for what I want and to warn others before they become a victim. Keep up the fight everyone. If we fight this alone, we wont make a noice....but if we stand united and fight this together, the US and Canadian governments will hear our voices and and be forced to assist us in finding all these a**holes and putting them where they belong. Just dont give up. I have faith in this site and believe everyone involved in this hunt will make things right. Keep your head up and stay strong.

Naz, don't feel stupid. You were not stupid. You were trying to help yourself and someone unscrupulous took advantage of your need.

You made a very good point. One little voice is not loud, but when you get a lot of little voices to speak in unison, they can be very loud indeed.

[email protected] if you want to ask me more questions.

Well, its normal that I feel stupid. I work for a collection agency and deal with fraud on a daily basis. You would think I'd cover my bases before I jumped into that so quick. Was just in a desperate situation and when they said they got my info from LendingTree I trusted them. What a joke. I've learned by my mistake, and will NEVER do anything like that again. Thanks for the reply. I needed to hear that.
