I wondered if anybody new a loan company called Sun Loan Financial, http://www.sunloanfinancial.com
The called me the other day saying congratulations we have some wonderful news for your and to call them back.
They told me that I had been approved for a loan, but have to pay $900 for some insurance thing, sorry can't remember what.
I haven't sent any money to them or done anything yet, I am very hesitant about this.
Can somebody help me out here and let me know if they think that is a scam.
Thanks

Forgot to say when they answer the phone, they don't say the company name, just hello.

You were wise to ask the question melanie56. I used to work in customer service and we were continually asked to answer the phone in a professional manner, not just saying hello!

Please have a look here http://www.greatloansforbadcredit.com/blog/
It is a list of lenders that are known to scam consumers. Apparently this list is updated daily.
Type in sunloanfinancial.com into the search box in the top right hand corner and when the next page loads, they are close to the bottom of the page.

Not sure if it's the same guys but now that I looked a lil too late after wiring 500 in a rush to them. The aholes call themselves Suncor financial services in NY. I was desperate and now sorta screwed. They want me to send 750 more in a few hrs...little do they know they're gonna get a piece of my pissed off and drunk mind. They use 866-273-8182 as their number.

I shouldn't waste the money on the call. Good money after bad Goolie. They are in Nigeria and barely speak English anyway and used to abuse and it won't make any difference. Sadly they got your money, unless you are quick and can recover it from WU before they do.

Welcome to ScamWarners goolieman . I am sorry you lost money to this scammer. I agree with Began Steele that it is not a good idea to give a scammer a piece of your mind. Typically you end up education the scammer so he learns how to be better at his dastardly activities.

This happens even without intention on your part. Scammers are drafty and will do what it takes to get better at their evil deeds. As Began says, it isn't worth the cost of the phone call because nothing good will come if it. :(
