Advance fee loan scams and fraudulent loan sites.

I had a reply from a so called company who seemed legitimate at first, but not sure now.
They also said that they never charge fees before people get there loan.
But I am skeptical.
This is the email.
I am scared that they could get into my bank and remove my funds.

You have good reason to be concerned.

I have no doubt this is a scam.

First of all, the interest rate is ridiculous. Personal loan interest rates are much higher than 5%--someone with excellent credit would be lucky to find one under 10%.

Second, requesting bank details and ID over email is typical scammer, and no legitimate business would do it. Email is not secure, period. It is not to be used for sending sensitive information, and a legitimate lender would never do it.

Third, the writing just screams "African."

In the end, the only money changing hands will be yours--to the scammer.

You need to cut off all contact with this scammer immediately. Do not confront them or demand explanations--that will only lead to more lies. Please post the email address this scammer is using, as well as any websites if there are any.
