Advance fee loan scams and fraudulent loan sites.

i just applied on http://www.equitysolutions.com for a loan. they sent me this email. Before I fill out the application, I want to verify if this is not a scam. Here is the message that they sent me:

Below is ONLINE LOAN APPLICATION FORM. Kindly fill it and get back to us as soon as possible so that we can proceed on your loan application.

Welcome to ScamWarners manoynav. You are correct to question the offer and company. The website is down. The fax number isn't in Florida as the company claimed to be, it is a number in California that is out of service.

I wouldn't send them any more information and I would stop communicating with them. If it sounds too good to be true, it is a scam. If they ask you to send funds by Western Union it is a scam.

We don't recommend lenders or other businesses. We don't know where you live or what kind of loan you are looking for.

Your best bet is to go talk to a banker you can sit with and tell your needs and issues. The internet is full of fraudulent sites offering to loan you money. Look to see what the lending laws are in your country. Be an informed consumer / borrower.
