They hide their domain registration details and have no means of contacting them on their website except a form - no phone number or physical address - makes you wonder what they are trying to hide.

Add to that an unsecure application form and requests for copies of ID and proof of residence and there's a very high chance you'll end up a victim of ID theft.

And they also seem to think that forum spamming is a valid means of advertising, judging by the large number of very similar posts on various forums.

Definitely a "company" to avoid.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Not only is the domain registered by hidden, it's also registered for only one year. Would you deal with a loan company that doesn't expect to be in business more than a year?

I usually don't publish my comments in this kind of forums, but because I've been working in online micro-financing for a long time I'd like to share some of my experience.

Most of this kind of micro-financing companies including Klickcredit.com require proof of identity (actually they are required by law bacause of KYC and AML regulations). Also, they usually don't publish their office addresses because of security reasons. What I like at Klickcredit.com is that they have an acceptable APR (not so expensive). On the other hand, if you don't pay back on time or for any reason your get late on payments, they start giving you telephone calls every single hour and threaten you with court, etc. To summarize, I think it is much wiser to not take any loan (nor online neither offline)..

KlickCredit are spammers and it appears that "Vid Worales" is one of their "minions", unless he just happened to be Googling for them.

Lets look at the total rubbish that he spouts

Klickcredit.com require proof of identity (actually they are required by law bacause of KYC and AML regulations

Any legitimate business would not ask people to submit their personal details or send ID documents using an unsecure Internet connection - they would have a secure connection.

Also, they usually don't publish their office addresses because of security reasons

What a load of rubbish - what security concerns would those be? Any legitimate business would have no problems publishing their address and phone number (as many "PayDay" loan companies do) and in fact are requred by law in most countries, to do so.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

So what you are saying is besides being a fake company they also break FTC Laws. Thank you for the update.

Hmm. Not even to regulatory officials. Dang they must be the US Mint.

Bryan, if I was a member of clickcredit I would send something positive about them. Not what I published. Honestly, I dont care about clickcredit or any other lending company. But, I worked in this areas and I'm absolutely sure you're a paid marketer aiming to damage reputation of your employer's competition. I hate this kind of marketing you are doing. Instead of doing such a dirty game, if you and your colleagues made something constructive, we would have a much better and trusted Internet and online space.

Thank you for confirming that you are either a scammer or a complete idiot who can't read (because anyone that actual reads anything here would see that our support staff are unpaid volunteers, and that we do not promote ANY lending company.). Since you have somehow figured out how to post, I assume that you are capable of reading. Therefore I can only assume it is the former and I have updated your rank accordingly.

For the benefit of those reading this thread:
When you take out a loan, you are a customer of the loan company. They are lending you money, but you are in fact paying them for the temporary use of that money.

There are certain things that you can and should expect as a paying customer (and in general these are required by law of legitimate businesses anyway.)

1. A physical address and legitimate contact information (necessary in case there are problems with the loan or repayment, or even if you need to take some kind of legal action.)
2. Protection of your personal information, including secure handling of identification and any confidential information. That means you will NOT be asked to send anything confidential via email, and you will NOT be asked to provide or submit confidential information on a form without solid encryption.
3. ACCURATE information posted on their website. That means that any reviews posted on the website are real, and are not paid reviews (or worse yet, copied from other websites.)
4. Licensing and/or certification required by the country, state, and/or city in which the business operates. The website and/or materials must reflect this.
5. ACCURATE advertising. Spamming forums with fake "questions" to make the business look legitimate most certainly doesn't qualify.

This "company" fails on all 5 counts.

There is more, but these points alone are sufficient to make it very clear that this should not be touched with a 10 foot pole!

From a regulatory point of view I probably won't live long enough to detail all the failings in your website, as it doesn't even even reflect the fact that the USA is divided into states each of which have their own separate lending rules, regulations and licensing arrangements. That is presuming that you are US based simply because the loans are denominated in US dollars and US citizens are likely to be the most obvious borrowers.

This is an amusing clause and highlights the risks inherent in copying clauses from other websites without any knowledge of their meaning and effect.

You should make your own inquiries before entering into any transaction on the basis of the Contents. KlickCredit does not check the accuracy of the Contents and neither KlickCredit nor any other party providing material displayed on the Web Site is under any obligation to give notice of any corrections or amendments.

….. we are targeting online loan markets in EU, US, South Amercia, and Asia.

I happen to live in a part of the UK which was known as Mercia in Anglo Saxon times. There is no local archaeological evidence that you were offering loans here 1,000 years ago. Offering loans covering such a wide area would require a list of authorisations and registrations that would fill a page. My personal expertise is in UK/EU banking regulation and you don't come close to compliance as well as failing to specify a governing law and local jurisdiction clause which would be difficult with trying to offer loans to half the planet off one anonymous website.

To confuse matters further you also appear to be operating on a continent not even mentioned in your list of markets.

All notices / communications shall be given to us either by post to our Premises (see address above) or by email to [email protected]. Such notice will be deemed received 3 days after posting if sent by first class port, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday

It's unusual to the point of being daft to offer loans outside your own country location.

I don't imagine that you have any connection with this company as you might al least be expected to comply with Australian Government requirements under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.

Another site here loanup.com, with the same problems in spelling

and surprise surprise, a hidden domain registration and no apparent physical contact details on the website, just an email address [email protected].

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
