Stop all contact with everyone involved.

Ignore all his future email/text/calls.

His next approach will probably be the abandonment scam and you will go to jail.

If you reply to any of his messages he thinks their is some chance he can steal more money from you.

Ok done he stopped talking to me anyways after I told him I wouldn't give him another penny and I want my money back

1-301-328-9452 is in Washington Zone 3, Maryland (i.e. in Maryland, next to the District of Columbia), not anywhere near Minnesota.

The writing shows that the scammer is from Africa, more likely Cameroon (the hotbed of pet scams) but possibly Nigeria. He may be in Thailand. With a VoIP number, he could be anywhere.

Yea when I looked up the area code and Maryland came up it was a red flag but I just thought maybe he moved and kept his number But that was not the case. I do believe he could be anywhere. I hope he will get caught though.
