i was offered 2 African Grey parrots for free ONLY costing the delivery of them to my doorstep.
I was contacted by a
[email protected]I knew the fact that they were free was too good to be true... I kept trying to find something to suss them out on.
But they gave me pictures i requested and any other information i asked of them. That was till they sent me the email which was from "the transport service".
They call themselves the Airborn Delivery Service.
The email i received from them was very poorly done, all fluro and ugh. That set off my inner alarm.
So i had to double check if they see trustworthy or not so i did the sensible thing and called the company up.
I said i had recently received an email from their company about the transportation of my female bird (I had actually agreed for 2 african greys one boy and one girl). To which they replied "yes, yes can you pay immediately so we can send them off? We are looking at your email now and we can see that you have one bird on hold with us". Then i said good that's all i needed to know and asked if there was another way i can send the money, they just told me to follow what the email says and asked if i can pay immediately again. They asked 3 more times before i hung up and "agreed" to pay.
Then i checked them out online, and no website (surprise surprise) till i found you guys
Thank you soo much you just stopped me from paying these idiots. So anyone in australia see an add for Charlie and african grey for $200 with cage and all, Don't bother. I asked about charlie and got a reply about 2 birds left that were paired. Gosh i want an african grey soo badly -_- nearly walked straight into this scam.
