This kind of scam also happened to me when I searched for a puppy to buy at an online site I found a very cheap price for a chow chow. To think that the puppy is really expensive in our country. I sent an email to the one who posted it. She's nice and accomodating but the fact that she never gave me her contact info. And she posted only few details about the puppy, and the pictures also, and she's just contacting me thru email. And what's more is that her add. On the online site where im looking at is different with the one's she told me.. She didn't even bother to ask me which puppy do I want a male or a female

Although I strung her along for nearly an hour while I did my research, I must admit that I don't feel bad for stringing her along! In one last text message, I let her know that I knew her ph# was a burner phone from L.A., that the ph# provided for the "company" was a burner phone from Atlanta, and there was no way I was sending money to a company in Africa that doesn't even exist! And I also told her she was a sorry excuse for a human being for pulling such a scam, and bringing my children's hopes up just to let them down. Shortly after, I received another text from someone else who attempted the same scam! I didn't waste my time the second time around, even though it was a local number because they claimed to be across the country and wanted to ship his pup to me the same way. When I said "no", he still wanted to scam me by getting me to post a "con-ad" for him through my kijiji account! They will try to scam you any way they can, so BEWARE!!!!!

Btw, it's not good to tell a scammer how you found out he's a scammer. We want them to keep making the same mistakes.
