Just scammed today by someone who said she will be sending a chowchow puppy from Davao Philippines to Manila Philippines. I was browsing through our local buying/selling website in the Philippines OLX. its Just so stupid of me to trust because I fell inlove with the chow pics. She said she is going to have an operation and that she needs to rehome her pets. Her name is KOWAL MONIKA MARIA

What email address and website address is the scammer using?

I am a victim of a pet scam!!!
I was looking for a rottweiler puppy on craigslist and stumbled upon a woman saying she bred several, and have only two left to offer, 12 weeks old one male and one female. she asked me several questions to insure I was going to take care of my puppy. I didn't have the money at the moment, so she waited for me for a whole week until I got paid. (how sweet! LOL) this became a huge journey due to the fact that every time I paid for something, a new charge was brought up! due to the fact that I don't have thousands of dollars laying on my counter, every charge took me a week to complete, which brought me more charges for feeding/ housing and a new crate which I didn't ask for. After completing those charges I was then told he needed life insurance, $980.00 but seriously who has that money laying around! After several arguments, they said my sender party paid most and was only 200.00 left to pay for it. Feeling guilty once again I completed that payment as well. Now after paying 200.00 for flight ticket, 200.00 for completion of life insurance fee, 280.00 for crate/feeding/housing I was sure there is nothing they can charge me with..... I WAS WRONG Big sign of scammers when something always comes up! They told me my puppy was sitting in New Orleans due to a quarantine issue, that his health wasn't fit to deliver to my state, FL. This charge was $880.00, that's when I lost it! Nasty messages were sent back and forth including me calling them out on being scam. Thwy then told me they were christian and God-Fearing and that scamming people for money is something they would never do. (Left in God's hands on judgement day.) after two days passed they then sent me more emails in bright colors, saying my pupp couldn't be there any longer and that they demand payment. I contacted the person sending it to me (one on craigslist) she said she could drop 600.00 and that was all she had, again leaving 280.00 to be paid on my behalf. Falling for it again I ended up paying the 280.00, being MORE THAN SURE I would have no other charges. My pupp was supposed to arrive to my doorstep at 12pm this afternoon. Calling off work to make sure I'm there to get my refund money, I was more than upset to see my dog never showed up. Calling, emailing and texting, I got no answer or reply. Accepting my loss, I brushed it off and figured I learned something. But it wasn't over. around 7pm on that same delivery date, I got an email and text from the woman from craigslist, saying there was a horrible accident and that my puppy died. the time difference says its all lies. The email went on in bright colors to promise me a compensation on $9,000.00 and that all they needed was my bank account info. This guy contacted me about an ad I put up for Corgi puppies. He greeted me as "Good morning ----" and let me know he had "both male and female puppies" which he then later said he only had one of each. He emailed me with the following:

What struck me was the poor grammar and how I already answered several of these questions. I looked him up and found this. Once I told him he was a scammer, I blocked him, and he contacted me again by text in less than 10 minutes with the same greeting. He used a different number for this: 3072229177

Thought you guys should also know about that number. Thanks for keeping this up, he was fishy sounding!

I sent the payment which was confirmed thru the "owner". He told me his name was Rolland Xavier 2010 Upshur St NE Washington, DC 20018. He used the email [email protected] and he gave me a phone number of (443) 216-9197.

Once he received payment he said he would use a pet delivery service to ship the dog out.

I received an email from the delivery service called EMI Pet Express email address emipetexpress.ga IP address 31.220.105.157 the email I received the message was [email protected]. They included a tracking number and listed their address as 56 New Ave. Boite Postal No 2211 Washington, DC phone number I received a call from was (703)828-5047

After the tracking number was sent, I then receive another email stating that they needed an additional payment of $960.65 for pet insurance. There was no number listed on the email so I sent a message stating that I needed to talk to someone about this. I then received a call from the number above telling me they needed the payment. I did ask if they took credit cards and the answer was they needed it by Money Gram as their machine was down. I told them that the seller would need to get the dog back so I could arrange different transportation but they told me this was not possible.

I then contacted the owner by text and email to tell him that I would not be paying this and that did I need to send the local police to get the dog released back to him? He stated that I just needed to pay the extra money. When I told him that he needed to resolve this issue he stopped email & texting me and would not answer his phone when I called.

Wow, that is horrible! I spoke to someone with the same email address and he asked for a deposit. Was the puppy in question one of the litter of three (2 girls and one boy)?
