Scams selling or giving away non-existent animals, often Puppy Scams.

This is my first time encountering a pet scammer, and luckily we did not get scammed. However, we were very close! Long story short, my husband and I were in search of a fur baby, and we encountered this page that sells puppies. I believe it dogs.oodle.com. Like I said this was my first time coming across puppy scammer, but this site maybe familiar to those who are aware. Anyway, we emailed the person and attempted to try to send a moneygram. Due to my Christian faith, I believe it was nothing but Jesus the payment was cancelled multiple times for no apparent reason. We called moneygram and they could not find a reason, and told us we may have to visit Walmart because they didn't do payments over the phone. So my husband and I were in line at Walmart, when he decided to do a quick search on puppy scammers. MAN! We were completely shocked when figuring out we were almost minutes, or even seconds from being scammed. Below I will show what was sent through my email.

Email: [email protected]

Hello,
Thanks for the interest in my puppies.
They are both male and female. The male is called Trent while the female Angela.
These puppies have been vet-checked and come with a one
year health guarantee certificate .They are very playful especially
with kids and other house hold pets .They will make wonderful
companions in your home. I am a company survey expert by profession.
We work in a survey company in California and I happened to be one of
the experts that were nominated to survey a food processing company in
Maryland. So with the love i have for these puppies, i had to take them
along with me as i have no body to look after them while i was gone..
When i got here , i found out that my hours of work were too many and
i don't have time to care for the puppies . So that explains why i
have to give them out for free but only to any interested person or
family. So if you are close and you want to come and pick them up let
me know so that i can give you my address. But if you are far, do not
let distance be the barrier.I am also willing to them ship to any
location since i work with this shipping lines. By so doing, all you
will have to pay for is their shipping fee to your location and
nothing more...
The lovely puppies will come along with all their necessary papers and
pets' accessories like: Vet Record, Birth Certificate, Shot Book,
Travel Crate, Toys And Foods Since i will not longer need all these
when they are gone ......

Before we proceed, i will like you to email me with answers to
the following questions so that i should know if you will rather take
good care of the puppies or not so email me with:

1) Are you a breeder?
2) Are you married?
3) Do you have kids?
4) Will you send me pictures of the puppies when you have them?
5) Will you have Enough time to spend and Play with them?
6) Were are you located?

Sorry if i did asked too many questions, but this is because i just
want to make sure that my puppies goes to the right home.

Attached are pictures of the puppies

Hope to read from you soon.

God Bless You

Thank you for posting the information on this scam and it will help others avoid losing money to this criminal. The site dogs.oodle.com is a legitimate free listing service and these scammers will use any free listing service they can find to post their fake ads.

The script that you posted is a common pet scam script used by the scammers in Western Africa.

The website http://adopt-a-yorkie-pup.hpage.com is in the process of being reported for fraud.

If there was a telephone number associated with this scam please post the number as a warning to others.

You have a PM

It is ALWAYS a scam

Wow, thanks for informing me of that information. It's more serious than what I thought. I assumed it was a U.S situation, but West Africa really?

I'll edit the post and add in the number.

It is obvious from the writing style that the scammer is African. Most likely he is in Cameroon, which is just outside West Africa, but there are some pet scammers in Nigeria.
