Husky puppy scam - [email protected]

I found an advert for a husky puppy for £300. After emailing the lady some information about me I asked her where she was based so that I could come and see the puppy. She said that she was in Scotland and that because it was so far away she would have the dog shipped out to me. She said to pay the delivery company direct and they would get in touch with me. The delivery company still haven't got back to me so I asked her to come and see the puppy and pick it up then. Then she replied saying that she had already registered me with the delivery company. Please let me know if anyone knows anything about her! I asked her about herself and she said she was a dogs sale agent?!?

It is a scam. The scammer is giving away and/or selling all kinds of pets he does not have. He want to steal your money by introducing you to a fake shipper.

Please post the emails sent to you. Remove your personal information from them prior to submitting.

Please buy or adopt your pet locally where you can physically see the pet and meet the owner.

She has given me her address! Should I complain about her to someone?

The address she has given is most likely not associated with the scam and was/is the address of a real estate listing.

The scammer that you are in contact with is most likely located in Western Africa so the authorities will not take any action. Post the information that you have will help expose this criminal.

One last thing DO NOT tell them that you know it is a scam. Just go silent and let them wonder what happened.
