Scams selling or giving away non-existent animals, often Puppy Scams.

I really wanted a puppy, so I answered to these people on Craiglist. She showed living in NM, which isn't that far from me. when she sent me the email "confirming" the pet shipment and saw it was from Cameroon I backed out, and have been harassing me by phone and email. They have my address, what should I do? This is the information they gave me, and I included the email in the subject line. The lady's number is (507)512-8045 (Susan Clinton or so she says) (224)419-4158 is the number from the person in Cameroon

RECEIVER'S NAMES..................... GAVERAL LUMA MOLINGE

STATE................................... SOUTH WEST

CITY ..............................BUEA

COUNTRY.....................CAMEROON

POSTAL CODE ..............................00237

AMOUNT........................ .......... $170

Welcome here redith65!

It is very likely that "Susan Clinton" and "the person in Cameroon" are the one and the same person.
The phone number from MN is listed as follows

Country or destination United States
City or exchange location Rochester, MN
Original network provider* Onvoy, Llc - Mn

And Onvoy is a VoIP (internet phone, like Skype) provider - the phone number can be anywhere in the world. So the chances they are actually in Minnesota are basically 0%.
First thing you have to do is to stop all contact with the scammer. Just pretend you have disappeared, block all incoming calls from the phone numbers and the emails. If the messages continue, consider changing your email and phone number, but it is unlikely - after a few days, the scammer should give up and leave you alone.

Next up: If you could post the craiglist ad, and the emails you received here, it would be very helpful - not for us, but for any other "clients" of this seller, who can easily find the information listed here.
Please, make sure you delete all your personal information from the emails before you make them public - just so your name or email address are not here in the public. Thank you very much in advance. :)

Never tell scammer he is listed on this site.

If you find out person you are communicating with is listed here: stop all contact with the scammer

I didn't tell the scammer anything. Just that they needed to leave me alone, and if they didn't I would report their numbers and emails to the authorities, and like magic they disappeared. Thank god I found your posts before I dished out any money to them. :D :D :D

Please, do not report their phone numbers and email addresses, you just shared the information the scammer uses (and we are thankful for that) and from now on - anyone can find them because of that as well. ;) So you can be actually helping other people not dishing out any money to them as well. :) If you had reported to the authorities and have it disappeared, it would be of useless. :)

We've been happy to help you. :)
