I've been scammed trying to buy a Scottish short fold kitten. I'm in the uk, and the seller was found on www.pets4homes.co.uk posting as Arthur Hutherford living in Isle of Man. The courier company is [email protected] and a MR CC Frank. All numbers starts at 07 and 023.
I have over forty messages from that Arthur, and the payments of course to Cameroon through money gram and western union.
I was in love with the kitten she was beautiful and inexperienced .. Is seemed so real. I had a brief thought about cameroon, but I thought that nowadays many companies do abroad for financial reasons.
He talked and talked and only took £370 plus £36 fee for the kitten itself. Foolishly I paid it through money gram. Then I asked about the details of shipping, before and in the start of it all and seller Arthur got rude and pissy with me. And didn't want to answer the questions.
Soon, I get a green email about pet insurance and asked to pay £940 or I would get used for animal a use and abandonment, within 24 hours. Arthur said hell pay half, £440. Hell yeah..
I went and paid the £500 they wanted me to pay. Now the funny thing.
I didn't go through
MR cc frank at the pet delivery company called me each day, first day, he pressed me to go to the post office to cancel the payment, and it was very urgent, which puzzled me. I'm off sick from work, and he pushed and forced me to walk an hour back and forth the post office the whole day, from nine am to six pm, and that wasn't even enough but he wanted me to go another time. I don't remember now if it was the first payment or the bigger, second one of the £500. There were this back and forth anyway.
I was completely exhausted, and I couldn't drive, no car. My condition really took a toll, and I'm not recovered yet. I've been very stressed out, and when I recieved that pet insurance, I started to cry and all strength left my body. And same day, he pushed and pressed me like that and Arthur said hell pay half. Which he went on about that I should pay back when I get the refund from the insurance.
I started to have a funny feeling, but was so in love with the kitten. Same time, my condition made it worse for me. I was so in doubt, wether there was a kitten or not and wether she was suffering and it would've been my fault. And also I so wanted it to be real. But I got help in here (thank god for Wayne) and I got links and finally I got it.
The first money is Gone but I managed to save my £500 plus £36 fee. Thank god.
They wanted me to send the £500 through western union instead of money gram. They wanted me to cancel the transaction, and go to western union. I never got an explanation why. Just pushed and told. Yes I wondered but again...
When I went to the post office to cancel the transaction MR cc Frank was on the phone to me like an eagle. Each half hour. Every days he started to call me already at eight am and me being ill, needing my rest..
Broken English and phone line breaking didn't made it better. I had to repeat that I was Ill, walking or whatever I was doing, only to have to repeat, again, and him not caring.
I thank god paid by card, so I got the money back. The five hundred. When I told MR cc frank, that I paid by card, he said ahhh... So THATS why the money didn't go through. I thought that was very strange, but I was ill.
It was said to me that I had to wait until the money went back into my account. Luckily I got the money from the post office. MR cc Frank called each day, just as early and as much.
Talking to Wayne in here, in the chat room and getting the link, to stolen pictures of the cat, I had just recieved my money back. Thank god I didn't pay it!
