Scams selling or giving away non-existent animals, often Puppy Scams.

I am so grateful I found this website last night before going to sleep because I was going to be scammed today. I replied to a post from Craiglist in Tampa about someone giving away two 11 weeks old Siberian Huskies. I replied to the ad for more information and a few days later someone contacted me. They send me pictures of the adorable babies ready to be given away bc they no longer were able to take care of them. They send a questionare to make sure they were placing them in the right family:
Are you a breeder?
Do you promise not to sell the puppies?
Do you have a vet?
What are your environment conditions?
Do you have children or other pets?
I was so naïve I answered everything bc I was in love with one of the puppies bc I already had another husky at home. I even send them a picture of my husband playing with our husky. Immediately they responded that I had move to the number one spot in their heart. They told me they had relocated to Baltimore, MD. That I would have to drive up or better yet they would have an agency ship it to us. I immediately agreed, I send them my name address phone number and nearest airport.
I send them an email if they could ship it delta cargo as it would be the most inexpensive and fastest way, or I can have one of my friends pick up and ship it to me. They said they rather go with the "courier" service. They said they were going to register the puppy and put it on the next flight. I kept asking for the name of the agency but they never told me. But I was so happy I didn't mind as long as I got my little puppy shipped safely. My kids were so happy. But something was telling me that something was off.
Last night I researched pet shipping companies in Baltimore, MD and ran into this site. I was so hurt by what they had done to some innocent people and was about to go through as well. I kept on with the story with them, I played along. I send them an email this morning telling them We couldn't wait to meet our new baby. That we had gone out and bought some toys and stuff for the puppy. They said the shipping company was going to call and send an email and request the 300 dollars payment. I told them my friend was 30 mins away to see the puppy at the agency before it shipped. They called but I never answered. After that they send me a email calling me a liar. I told them I was not that stupid to give them my money and they never even gave me the name of the shipping company.
If it's too good to be true, it usually is. :(
The email they were using was [email protected]
Their address in Baltimore: 1303 Belt St, Baltimore! MD
Phone number they first text me from 616-319-9445

Hello altisimago123,
I am glad that you discovered the scam before you lost money to this criminal. The questions he sent in the email are classic pet scam script questions.
If you received an email asking for money to be sent please post the email after removing your personal information.
Just keep ignoring them and they will move on looking for another victim. If you have any additional questions please ask.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon

The phone number is in Lowell, Michigan. Does the courier have a website or its own domain? Can you post an email showing the location they claimed before moving to Baltimore and an email showing the Baltimore address?
