Lovely Beagles is a family-owned, small kennel that raises beagles as a part time family activity. We have beagle puppies for sale throughout the year. Our adult Beagles have been purchased from long-time breeding programs or have been raised here on our farm, and were selected for disposition, health, and conformation as well as their eye appeal. We aim at producing happy, healthy and genetically sound beagles which will provide an abundance of fun, joy and mischief for their owners for many years to come. We seek pet/family or loving show homes for our puppies where they will be spoiled and well cared for, and NEVER sell to brokers or pet stores!

I first started in the dog show world at the age of 15 when my parents bought me an English bulldog puppy for Christmas from Jim & Helen, Cattermole Asked if I was interested in showing, I said no and chose my pet. Helen invited me to a dog show and I decided to give it a go. Although kicks was not a show prospect, I caught the bug and the rest is history! I was given tremendous support and advice by Vicky Hilton who taught me so much about assessing a dogs attributes and relating them to the standard of the breed.

As concerns their general temperaments.They are all happy dogs that makes a wonderful companion for the family. They adapt to many different environments and lifestyles, if not all. They are very eager to please, and very intelligent however training must be consistent as they will tend to lose interest and focus on something that catches their attention. They do extremely well with children, and can do exceptionally well with other pets if socialized properly.
My wife recently put to birth(twins),she has been the brain behind the well being of these lovely dogs because of my work but i still give her a strong supporting hand. it will be practically impossible for her to carry on with the bringing up of our babies and looking after the puppies at the same time.
As such, we have decided to gradually discontinue our breeding programme and concentrate on the bringing up of our babies,We have choose to Re-home these puppies into homes that could afford to cater for them and love them like their very own family.We have been breeding puppies for the past 6 years and really have much experience in the field as we have even taken some lessons and read books and gone through training, We have primary jobs though. so breeding beagles is for the sake of experience only,as we do not sell our puppies to make money to keep the family rather we only seek homes that are willing to share a loving and caring home with them. We charge a 50% discount price of $400 on each puppy irrespective of age and sex.

I'll advice you to get the following grooming tools within a month or two from now: Shampoo, Conditioner, Pin Brush, Nail Clippers, Ear/Pad Trimmer, Ear Lotion, Scissors.
As for food, We feed all our puppies with Purina Puppy Chow for the first year at which time we switch to Purina Little Bits. I choose to feed Purina puppy chow because it is relatively cheap and is readily available across the United States at most departmental or grocery stores. There are many opinions on which dog food to use. This is a decision only you can make, but keep in mind Purina has been making dog food for over 50 years and they do extensive research on nutrition and protein. Other dog foods may cost more but that doesn't necessarily means they are better.
