Need Help ~ I think i am being scammed

I am brand new to the site and i found you out of doing some research. For the past 2 days i am receiving an email from a person who is trying to sell me bichon frise puppies. I am only stringing him along and asking him questions, because i know not to buy any puppy off the internet. I am going to post the initial email he sent to me. I do not know how he got my email or how he knew i was looking for Bichon Frise puppies. Here is the email: (name from the email is:[email protected]

The puppies are 11 weeks old and ready to go from today. I was wondering
if you will like to take the two puppies or just one ? Unfortunately
I can't look
after the puppies any longer due to the mobile nature of my new Job.
I can't provide them with the love and attention these puppies any more and
this is the prime reason for selling the puppies. I have made up my
mind through prayers and pains taking efforts in search for a reliable
caring person to take good care of the puppies. The little babies have
had current vaccination,vet check,health certificate and 1 year health
guarantee. They are AKC registered,Potty trained,home raise
and well socialized kids and all the other home pets. I will be very
happy to have
you as a good caring parent for these puppies only if you can take good
care of them as your own babies. Actually money is not what

This is a standard pet scam script. The best thing to do now is to stop all communications with this person without telling them that you know it is a scam. Just go silent and let them wonder what happened.

FYI the same email address has been used to post ads for kittens.

Please post any additional information that you may have such as telephone numbers used by the scammer.

Yes this is definitely a scam! I recieved the exact same email same format questions and all but was in reference to a kitten i was looking for. It all seemed legit until i recieved email and call about carrier service which is WORLD PET DELIVERY. I knew something was wrong when the email told me to go to money gram and tell them it was for a friend or family so that i wasn't charged so much! After doing my research on the co i came across several scam alerts. I recieved another email asking if i had talked to the carrier service but have not responded! People make sure you do your own research before ever sending the money! Thank goodness for google!!

The writing is quite obviously that of a sub-Saharan African (probably in Cameroon).

Thank you for post the email address the fake breeder is using. Typical of these Cameroonian pet scammers they have posted ads for various breeds of dogs and at least one money ad.

The telephone number used in these scams is (734) 796-7403 which is a Google Voice VoIP number that can make and receive calls from anywhere in the world that has high speed internet service.
