About French Bulldog


French Bulldogs have one purpose in life and that is to make you smile. They are small to medium sized dogs with easy going temperaments and an absolute love of ALL people food! They have a smashed-in nose, giving them a monkey-like face with the noteworthy bat ears (also called "tulip" ears). The French bullog body is something of a mystery. After achieving a master’s degree in "couch-potato-logy", where do all those muscles come from? They have a low-maintenance wash and go coat, making them the perfect house dog. They come in a variety of colors. The traditional colors including: cream (looks like a white dog with dark skin), all shades of fawn with or without black masks, all shades of brindle, and, last but not least, piebalds of all three coat colors (a white dog with spots of color). From there, you can claim your puppy and take it home yourself or if you choose the home delivery option then the puppy or puppies will be home delivered to your home address.

The thought of shipping a puppy can be a bit scary because there is no one sitting back in the cargo area with your new baby during the actual travel time. Amazingly enough, with all the potential problems, few puppies have a problem getting from point A to point B. However, it is a good idea to do all you can to minimize delays, mistakes and accidents. To do your best to be sure your puppy arrives happy and healthy, you should:

Request that the breeder double check to be sure the puppy is crated securely. Most airlines provide plastic ties to secure the door at all four corners. If it isn't required by the airline your breeder is using, this is still a smart idea, as sometimes a door can be jarred enough to pop open if it is simply latched.

Check to be sure food and water dishes are being provided and make sure the breeder attaches a supply of food to the outside of the kennel so the puppy can be fed and watered if the trip is a long one.Ask that your phone number be written directly on the carrier in permanent marker in case the shipping information gets separated from the kennel.

Our puppies are given their shots and wormings at 5 & 7 weeks. I use NeoPar and NeoVac DA2 Vaccines for Distemper, Para influenza & Parvovirus . I usually give Canine Parainfluenza-Bordetella Brochiseptica Bacterin Vaccines (Bronchicine CAe) at seven and a half weeks, for kennel cough if the puppy or puppies are traveling by plane. Sometimes puppies do develop a runny nose or a slight cough from this vaccine, however it does give some protection from upper respiratory disorders while the puppy or puppies are traveling to your home.
At 5-6 weeks of age, all of our puppies are micro chipped. The microchip number will be placed on that puppy's AKC registration papers. When I send in your AKC registration papers, AKC also has a recovery program for the microchip number. You will have to keep your contact information up-to-date with AKC.
All of our puppies are started on potty and crate training.They will not be perfect, however as soon as they are capable to walk outside on their own, they are encouraged to potty outside.They are also kept in a large crate at night so that when they go home, the transition will be easier. I am a firm believer in crate training. This is a means of keeping your puppy or puppies safe when you cannot be there, not a form of punishment. It also assists in the potty training due to the fact that most puppies do not want to potty where they sleep. As long as you set and keep a consistent potty and exercise routine, your Frenchie should do just fine.
I like to teach basic obedience commands to our puppies, usually starting around 6 weeks of age. However, I no longer have the time to work with my puppies consistently anymore. I do send home a list of commands and instructions for you to start training at home. I only use positive reinforcement and so, my puppies learn the POWER OF CHEESE! I teach "sit", "stand", "here", "kennel up", "out", and "okay" (this is a release). I also work on the command "down" (as in "lay down", I use "off" for when a puppy is jumping on someone). "Down" is one of the hardest commands for a small dog to learn. I strongly encourage puppy or puppies owners to take their puppies to basic obedience classes. Puppy classes are great to socialize your puppy with other dogs and people, and are meant for puppies under 4 months of age, who do not have all of their vaccinations. (Please remember that until your puppy is fully vaccinated, your puppy is not immune to the many diseases that he or she will be likely exposed to. Be cautious about letting your puppy go to pet stores or dog parks until they have had all of their shots. Many contagious diseases can be spread during these visits.) Beginner obedience classes are for puppies and dogs that are over four months of age and you should only take your puppy to these when they are fully vaccinated, including rabies.
NOTE:If you decide that one of my puppies is the right one for you, you will be required to make a deposit first and when you receive the puppy or puppies you are going to complete the rest fee. When I receive your deposit, I will mark your puppy on hold. I will no longer advertise that puppy and we will start to make travel/delivery arrangements for that puppy. If your circumstances change and you can no longer buy a puppy from me, and you have paid more than the deposit, I will return all your money.You may use your deposit on another puppy as long as you purchase the second puppy within 1 moth.
When it is time for your puppy or puppies to go home you will be given: a sample of our puppy food, your puppy's AKC & microchip registration papers, a copy of all health records, a health certificate, a health guarantee in the form of a signed Sales Contract, and a written guide to basic obedience training for your puppy. Obviously, until the puppy is paid for in full, the puppy will not be able to be taken home. All transportation fees are in addition to the purchase price of the puppy and arrangements will be made according to needs.


NOTE: I have the right to refuse to sell a puppy to anyone, for any reason. I try to collect as much information about you and to give as much information about my puppies as is possible, so that there are no misunderstandings about what you are getting. However, there have been times that I have felt that the person purchasing one of my puppies has been untruthful or misrepresented their situation. When that occurs, I will refuse to continue with the sale of the puppy, and return all funds but the deposit to that person. I only have a small window of contact to collect information about you and your family and I am trusting that you are as honest as I am. I try to make sure that my puppies are placed in the best homes, with families that can afford to take care of any health issues that come with owning a French Bulldog.

If you send the money willingly, as I did, your local police will do NOTHING to help you, mainly you'll receive attitude and are considered an idiot for attempting this purchase online. Unfortunately I live in XXXXXX, Canada and so local pick-up is not an option for me. I also have a sad event that occurred to me this weekend, due to my own fault. I attempted to purchase a frenchie pup from a source, who turned out to be unreliable, and therefore had all my funds stolen from me (over XXXX$). I didn't consider that I could be getting scammed and i made the purchase too quickly due to my excitement at finding a pup at such a low price. I am beyond interested in one of your pups however you can see that I am a little stuck with my money due to this recent theft. I would love nothing more than to have one of your babies at my home by tomorrow or asap since they're still pups but I know, if you truly are reliable, you will most likely not allow me to make separate payments on the pup and will most likely not send her to me until all funds are received. So what I was hoping you might be able to offer me, is if you might be willing to hold on to a puppy for me if I sent a small deposit fee? (once I determine if you're truly reliable, which you do seem, however I cannot risk being scammed again and losing more money to not obtain a pup).

I have a small issue with confirming that you are in fact a reliable seller, are there any previous buyers that would be willing to be contacted by me that are willing to vouch for you? And regarding the ownership papers, how can I guarantee they are real and that you actually have the puppies in your possession and are not trying to scam me? When I tried purchasing my pup over the weekend, I signed ownership papers, thought I could trust that the seller would send me my pup and they never did, keeping my money.
