In our cattery bengal kittens are born at home and socialization starts from day 7 after beth by our younger and older kids and various dog breeds from neighbors. This way the kittens get perfect socialization from people, other pets and the noises at home..Our bengal kittens are dewormed, vaccinated and thoroughly examined by our veterinarian, and they go to their new homes with microchip. For health and socialising reasons they have to remain with their mother and siblings until they are 12 weeks of age.




Health and character are, along with beauty, the three goals of our breeding program. We work for health by selecting the bengal cats we use for breeding for their health and that of their ancestors, making the necessary tests and controls. Also by keeping the adult cats correctly vaccinated, and the adequate conditions of cleanliness and hygiene, keeping the cats in small groups, the kittens separate from adults (except their mother), litters separate one another, etc.




We work for character, on one side selecting for breeding the cats that have good character, since temperament is partly hereditary. On the other hand, it is necessary to socialize well the kittens with humans, having daily interaction with them, and also that the kittens socialize well with their mother and siblings staying with them until the age of 12 weeks.When you choose the bengal cats to the betterment of the breed you cannot overlook any of these three esential aspects. Shipping a KITTEN: Is it safe?




With my many years of shipping experience in both shipping and receiving kittens, I know for a fact that all of the kittens are well taken care of. I have only had a couple of incidences where the KITTENS had a delayed flight or had an accident in there crate due to a long flight, but don't worry we put allot of shredded newspaper in the crate in case they do have an accident, so they do not sit in it. Shipping, if done properly, is no more stressful than if you were to come pick them up here. In fact shipping can be less stressful then driving across country with them. Even less so as shippingtakes only a few short hours and tehy usually spend longer times in thier crate overnight.







What about shipping in the winter, isn't it too cold?




Shipping during this time of year is completely safe and is not a problem. Just like a person getting on a flight to go meet their relatives for the holidays, shipping a kitten is very similar-and probably even a little easier. All kittens ride in the belly of the plane where the temperature is kept at a comfortable 70 Degrees. The same as for the passengers and they are the last on and first off the plane. The only thing different about this time of year is that the airlines can be strict on the minimum temperature at each location even though the plane is always kept at 70 degrees. I believe it is mainly for their liability and protection. Likewise, in the summertime they will not ship if temperatures are too hot along the way. If this is the case, we will just wait for the next best day to ship or ship earlier or later in the day to combat the hot/cold part of the day.







What is involved in the shipping process?







We ship our cats/kittens with Delta or Continental Airlines- they have taken excellent care of our cats and kittens. Shipping is safe and we can safely ship immediately ordering is done. Shipping is a very simple process. We schedule a visit to our veterinarian to obtain a health certificate for travel. We will also book the flight for your kitten, emailing you the tracking/booking number, pick up instructions, and flight information. If two kittens are adopted, they can be shipped in the same crate if they are of comparable size.

Instructions for Pick Up and Cost




Generally you will pick up at the airlines’ ticket counter or airlines’ cargo facility/office. You must have a drivers license or a photo ID for pick up. Also, a home delivery from your destination airport to your home can be made which will cost you an extra $50.




It seems lengthy in explanation, but it actually goes very fast!




I tape their collar, leash, toy, kitten food and a kitten packet to teh top of htier crate and put a frozen water dish in so it will gradually thaw out for the kitten. kittens are also offered food and additional water if needed during the trip. The kitten will arriveteh same day as it is sent, within just a few hours. The average flight time is appoximatlly 3 - 6 hours and VIP trips are usually shorter.




What is the normal cost of Shipping?




At this time, I am only able to ship within the US,CANADA &AU although I have had individuals to fly in from other countries to pick up a kitten. Major airports are often the best bet, but I would be glad to check out your local airport to see if shipping is possible. Shipping to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii are available but may cost slightly more.




We ship kittens Using couple of airlines depending on which has flight to your location (During Winter) we can make exceptions and ship via Continental Etc .
