There is a person supposedly from Virginia using the name and email of Michelle Hill ([email protected]) who is pretending to be an Aussiedoodle breeder. She has classified ads online, and when you request information via email she says she is sold out. Then she proceeds to tell you a sob story about her close friend Christina Davies ([email protected]), who adopted 2 puppies (one male and one female) from her and how she was transferred to west Africa because she works for Christian Aid Mission in VA. Michelle will provide you Christina's contact information including the address for Christian Aid Mission (434-977-5650) which is a legitimate organization, her address in Nigeria, and her email address. When you contact Christina she will tell you how adorable and awesome her two pups are and how you must send her pictures of them growing up so she knows her puppies are in a good home. She will also give you a contact number of 234-813-210-4015. She will ask to be paid by moneygram because there are too many scams with paypal. She will tell you to send it to her travel agent in Reno, Nevada and that once the money is received Michelle will ship the puppies. If you are hesitant, she will offer to send the puppies for half the price and once you get the puppies, you can immediately send the other half. She will give you one of the following addresses for the moneygram: 1) Micheal Williams, E. Liberty St, Reno Nevada 89501 or 2) Micheal Williams 239 E 2nd St, Reno, Nevada 89501.
Please note that we were not scammed. We did our research and knew it was a scam when she sent us the address (#1) from above. As you can see there is no house or business number just the street name. When I told her the address wasn't working she sent me the other address (#2). When you google the address, it brings up 236 and it is an empty lot in Reno. We can't get 239 to come up on the map. I also called Christian Aid Mission and they confirmed that Christina did not work there and that the puppy ad was a scam. I kept contact via email so I could obtain as much information from her/him as possible so I could report it to the authorities. I hope this helps anyone else out there that might have run into this person(s). At this point, I am not sure if they are two different people or just one person using two different email addresses, or if she is a she, or a he. They are in Nevada since that is where she/he/they want the money sent.
