I am almost certain that I'm being scammed by a courier service that used this email to send updates, documents and a threat to pay or risk animal cruelty and abandonment charges

It's a definite scam. [email protected] is a free email address, which is not something that a legitimate company would be using.

Were you given a website for this fake courier?

Also, the seller of the pet is part of the scam, so please post their details as well.

The best thing for you to do now is block the seller and the courier and don't respond to them any further.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
