Scams selling or giving away non-existent animals, often Puppy Scams.

Beware of these con artists at with a pig farm called Tiny Miniatures! It is a SCAM! They tell you that they have the pigs you paid for at the airport ready to ship to you and then all of a sudden there is another email saying they need $600-$1,000 for insurance for the animal. Then the phone number has no name on the answering machine and the mailbox is FULL. They say that their names are:

Jerry Anderson,
7294 NW 44th Ln
Ocala, FL 34482
415-310-0046

I am going to call the police in their area. They didn't send my money back, or send pigs. All communication instantly stopped as soon as I called them out on being a SCAM. Don't get swindled. Buy mini/micro pigs in person, not from thieves like this. I hope they get all the bad karma that is coming to them. Spread the word and have them take their fake website down. There are NO PIGS. I have all the emails from them and texts promising pigs and telling their story of why they were selling them and it is all fake. I can't send them to anyone that is interested :)

Subject: Re: <removed> information for Lily and Jin

Hi <removed>, Now we are getting Lily and Jin's stuff together for shipping to you today. My husband said he talked to you and everything is looking good so far. Here is the information for the moneygram, please don't indicate you are paying for something out of state so you don't have to pay higher charges.

Jerry Anderson,
7294 NW 44th Ln Ocala,
FL 34482
415-310-0046 << resolves to California.
The address was apparently lifted from a Real Estate listing.

When filling out the moneygram form you'll need a test question and answer.
Question: Who
Answer: Lily and Jin

Below are local moneygram locations around you(ll within 10 miles) so you don't have to go to Walmart. <removed>
When you get to the money center you are to fill(sender and receivers info) out on the send money moneygram form and hand over the cash to the teller. You will be issued a receipt that contains an 8 digit reference number which you are to send to us. Thanks for offering Lily and Jin homes and it will be very kind of you if you could send us a pictures of their new families when you receive them.

Hey Juicemonkey20, I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you as well. At least we are getting the word out there and hopefully this won't happen to anyone else. I am blasting these jerks all over the internet and to the FBI and internet crimes units. They make me sick. Take care :) Christina

The reason they ask for a test question and answer is because they are most likely using fake names, and don't have a fake ID in those names. The Q&A generally allows the recipient to pick up money without ID.

The test question and answer is intended for use in special circumstances--for example, if you were traveling and your wallet was stolen, you wouldn't have an ID, so the test question and answer would be available to ensure your friends and family can help you. Scammers simply take advantage of an option that was put in place to help people in trouble.

This is all just crazy to me. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I have all the emails saved though in case they are needed in any situation. Also they definitely had fake names. They used Jerry Todd for me and then Jerry Anderson for 'youcanttrustanybody'. There are also three different phone numbers and none of them can be contacted which definitely shows something is up. The last email I sent to "Laura" was telling her that I wanted my money back and if not I was filing a dispute with my bank and they would make sure that I got my money back.
Though they ruined my day and my hopes of getting my teacup pig Tuesday morning, I still know that I will be purchasing one in the very near future. Although this time I think i'm going to find a farm near me that way I can drive there and see the piglets for myself. :D
Thanks everyone for your support and we better stop these people before they do this again!

Also I just noticed that their webpage is no longer up. You can search the address and it just says "You are being redirected" .... gotcha! They know they're done for now! :)

Our volunteers are probably responsible for the site being down. When you bring a scam site to our attention, our site-killing volunteers compile evidence that the site is fraudulent, and then bring that evidence to the host to get the site taken down.

If you encounter other suspicious sites in your search, please do report them here.
