Cat scam

Hi,

This lady was giving her very expensive cat for free. Everything made sense. I gave her my adress so she could 'drop her off'.
Now i looked up the first sentence she send and put it in google. And i see the exact same message for other cats. this woman thought it was a scam so asked a forum.
Now.. she/he knows my name. my e-mail and my home adress.... What do i do????!!
please help me It's my parents house..

Please don't worry it is hardly likely that "she" is going to turn up at your door, if you have anymore emails or other contact just ignore them.

If possible please post the email and headers to this thread, after taking out your details it will lead anyone googling the text to this site

Not to be confused with a CAT scan

It's fairly likely that the scammer is in Cameroon and has no way to get to your house. If you post the email with headers, we can probably tell for sure.

Employe au Haut Commissariat des Nations Unies aux refugies en mission humanitaire dans la sous region CEMAC ou nous avons pour mission : d assister ces pays de la sous region CEMAC a un developpement durable sur plusieurs domaines .D ici nous allons nous rendre au Soudan dans la zone de conflit du Darfour .J ai amene avec moi ma savannah contre ma volonte car je n ai pas eu l opportunite de trouver tres rapidement une famille a qui donne ma chatte ; je l ai donc amenee avec moi.Vue l ampleur du travail je ne peux plus lui accord assez du temps.Elle est tres bien portante et tres propre:ces vaccins sont a jour ,ces papiers en ordre ,elle est testee vaccinee pucee et vermifugee ,elle deborde d affection et de calins ,elle est agee de 5 mois ,elle aime la compagnie des enfants chats et chiens, elle aime jouer avec les enfants ,chiens et meme avec les chats.Elle est caline et joviale Fidele, affectueuse et tres intelligente,elle s adapte tres vite ,elle adore s epanouir sur un jardin et aime aussi se balader,elle aime aller en campagne, elle sait rester seule , elle adore l eau .Elle adore manger a l heure et se deplacer en voiture sans faire des betises.elle n aime pas la chaleur.En ce qui est d avoir Nouchka aupres de vous ne vous faites aucun soucis car je vais m organiser.

The French was definitely written by an African (whether in Sudan or Cameroon or Côte d'Ivoire I don't know, but if you post the headers we should be able to tell) who speaks French (it's not English translated by computer) but hasn't learned to spell right and is using a keyboard layout that doesn't have accents. Replacing all apostrophes with spaces is probably not a keyboard problem, but caused by a broken character encoding on Windows (the Mac equivalent results in apostrophes turning into superscript numbers).

What's the cat doing in tropical Africa if she doesn't like heat?
