Puppy scammer!!!

Hi I have joined this site to report a man scamming me
Over a female rottweiler puppy. I found his add on puppyoodle.com. I emailed him stating I was interested in his puppies. He went by the name "Dr. Scott" He stated that he was a "retired military veteran who's wife died and that was the reason he was giving away his puppies". His add stated that he lived in Alabama but when I asked to see the puppies in person he then changed his location and said he was located in Boston and would send the puppy through a pet carrier company. I asked for the exact age of the puppy and also a picture of the puppy I wanted but kept ignoring my requests and kept rushing me to send him my information so he could "change the ownership of the puppy" I had a feeling he was scamming me because his English was very broken. I was very lucky that I searched pet scammers on google and came across this site. Apparently this type of scam is common and his email was also a standard email sent by scammers. I'm lucky I went with my gut instinct and came across this site!!! The scammer didn't get this girl's. here is the exact email :

puppies, we have a male and female puppy now available and they are 8
weeks old, they have a very good temperament with kids and other pets
and are the second liter of their parents, they are very playful and
love to play around with toys, kids and other pets,they are health
guaranteed and AKC registered, they are up to date on all their shots
and they will be coming along side with their health papers and vet
records, First i wish to let you know that we are given these puppies
out because my wife just died. She was located in Boston,MA, and all
of us are there now . She was the owner of this cute little babies.
Since she is now late , We can't keep the puppies here in such
condition because each time we see them , we keep thinking of her. So
we want to give them out to pets loving and caring homes ,where they
can be treated as such and keep us updated on monthly progress. I am a
retired Soldier, but i work in the military court now, i was a Vitim
of an accident in a military truck, and i was badly injured with the
driver, and the doctor had to perform trekia anatomy to save my life,
and as a result of that, i can talk no more, i cant also hear very
well unless someone stands by me and shout, i thank good that i am
still alive and in one piece. These puppies will be coming from
Boston,MA But if you would be able to come over here for the pick up,
we shall be very grateful, but if you can't come, don't worry OK,life
has been made easier here in the U.S.A, we can make arrangement for a
home delivery with the animals delivery service, and they will get the
puppies delivered at your doorstep. Below are just some few question i
will like to ask;

Where are you located?
Do you have any kids ?
have you ever own this breed before?
why do you love this breed?
Do you have a good environment for a puppy?
what sex are you interested in having?
How soon do you need this puppy(s) over?

Sorry for all these questions, but we just want to be sure that
the puppies are going to the right home where they will be having all
the love and attention they need. We are given them out for $350 each
including shipping, So please if you are interested, just get back to
me, so that we can proceed with the necessary arrangement for the

-she is a portable baby.
-she is to be carried a lot and be spoiled.

-she gets angry when you shout at her, so don't do that.

She will be coming with all details of , de-wormed and microchip.
Since we have made up our mine to let this baby into your home, since
you have promise us that the puppy will be well look after and you
guys will keep us up dated with monthly pictures so we can know how
the puppy is doing with you .Since you guys are not so close to us ,
we shall use the Pet Delivery Courier service and they will get the
puppy delivered at your home address that you will provide to us. Also

The writing is obviously African. What email address did he use, and does he or the shipper have a website?

Well I was I obviously unaware at the moment that he was African because I had never searched online for a puppy before.. He went by the name of Dr. Scott and I also dealt with someone with the name Nasy Wack. Their adds appeared on a website called dog.oodle which then directed me to a page called Killer Arsenal Marketing Adds,where it appears that do their scamming here

When you have dealt with many of these scammers, you become skilled at recognizing characteristics in writing that tell us a person is African. The statement about the African English was merely confirming that this fits in the category of the most common type of pet scam (the largest number originate in Cameroon, though we see some from Nigeria and other African countries.)

VX asked for the email address the scammer used because the most commonly searched information is email address--so if you post the address the scammer used when he emailed you, it is more likely to help other potential victims.

I am SO GRATEFUL I found this post. I was really suspicious about an email I received regarding chow chow puppies, and thought it was a scam. But now I can confirm. This guy is still at it with the same details. He sent an email today from "Kent Long"

Thank god i found this! kent long sent me the exact same email but something didnt sit right with me ad says dog is in new york then he says salt lake city utah, he says he and then she he coulnt keep his story right so i did a search and found this site! now i just played with him and said ill be in salt lake and want to see him face to face he wont reply LOL! what a scammer! his email is: [email protected] and kent long phone #762-233-8470 listen to his voice message damn! thats all hes says i hope this helps anyone else who may not have been so lucky!
