SCAM alert. I found a listing for FREE Teacup Yorkie Puppies on a free classified website called "Pennywise". The listing stated that the puppies were located in Bradenton, FL (close to where I live) but their location quickly changed to Pholadephia. Scammer is going by the name Carrine Jonnes. [email protected]
Here is their initial email to me after I inquired:
"HELLO,
Thanks for the mail. I really appreciate your concern. our PURE BRED
YORKIE PUPPIES are still available. I am willing to give them out for FREE
adoption if you will promise me that you will take good care of them. They
are all currently vaccinated; akc registered and have undergone
veterinarian examination. They are in good health so you don't have to
worry about health. They were all raised around kids and other pets and
they will make a great addition to any family as they are very intelligent
dogs. *
My reason
for letting them go is because My daughter is very sick with
CANCER and we spent much time with her right now and have no time for the
dogs as she has barely 6 months left to live. We want this time she has
left to be the best for her with us as we love her so much. We think that
these puppies could be better taken care of by another family who can give
them so much attention that we cannot provide at the moment. My wife and i
decided to let these puppies go since we are busy with work and our child,
there will be no one here to care for them, More over our landlord does
not Accepts pets as his kids are allergic to Cats and Dogs. We are out for
a good home for them.*
* We have just three of them left, MAX (male), NINA and BELLA (females) Vet
check, up to date shots and will be coming with all health papers and
records.. I am really looking for them an urgent home,
There is no prize to pay for the puppies so you can come for pickup if
we come to an agreement.

After I responded to them with further questions...here is their reply:
"Hi, thanks for getting back to me, well from the anxiety you and your
family have for pet, I think your home will be just great for my pups.
After reading your email, you moved to number one spot for potential
adopters for them.
I'll be happy letting you re-home them, if and only if you will keep
your words of taking good care of them.
These pupies are like kids to me that is why i donnot wan t to sell
them to someone to treat them bad because he bought them. i want some
one who will show them love affection and care that i have been
giving to them. i had them from their mother who passed away not long
ago. I am giving them for free .so if you can assure me that you can
have them.
As for the puppies, they are well trained and they possess a
handbook showing their life styles as well as feeding, and toilet
habits, and they are very friendly with kids and other home pets,
their vet records are well explained in the hand book together and
will come alongside a bag of puppy food, their vet records, 2 designer
outfits, Some pee pads, Baby blankets, Puppy Care Kit, 3-4 favorite
play toys, Food Menu Card, feeding bowls and a puppy photo album and
some helpful information, that will help you facilitate the transition
process, they also come with a health guarantee paper that is still
valid for six months. I can't make any commitments yet, but if you can
promise to send me monthly pictures and shot records so I get to know
how they are coping in your home, then I can have them delivered right
away to you by shipping since you are located in Sarasota which
is some distance apart , I guess shipping is our best option as of now
because I think flying up here in Philadelphia for picking will be
rather too costly for you, or what do you think? Because if you can
make it here it will
be great for I'll love to meet with you in person at least to gain
some acquaintance with my pup's new family, but if that is going to
cost you much then I can arrange for that of your choice to be
shipped and the cost is going to be covered by you."
