The email is definitely from a scammer. Scammers don't give back money, so it's a trick or a significant problem with picking up the money on their end. Contact Western Union immediately, to try to cancel the transfer and see if you can retrieve your money.

Do not continue contact with the scammer!

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492

These people are criminals. They post fake ads, and promise animals that they don't have, for the sole purpose of stealing your money. They have NO intention of giving your money back.

BUT IS YOU TELL THEM THAT, THE COMPANY IS PAYING BACK YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL CUT YOU SOME CHARGES AGAIN OK.

This is a lie, and it simply reinforces that the criminals are up to no good.

If you go to Western Union and try to reverse the transaction, you will not get in trouble. Bring your original receipt, and ask if it is possible to reverse the transaction. DO tell them that you are reversing it because you found you fell for a scam. If they reverse the transaction, they will return your rm300, but they won't refund the fees you paid to send it.

If the scammers were unable to pick up your money for some reason, they might pretend that they are giving you a refund to convince you that they are real and get you to send money again. IF you are able to pick up the money, (either way you will lose the transaction fees) just take it back and drop all contact with the scammers.

If you go to Western Union and they tell you that the money has been picked up, there is nothing further you can do. Do NOT contact the scammers again. They will continue to lie to you and say they will refund your money, but really it is a setup so that they can steal more money.
