This was posted on a statewide internet website on 3/11/14 in Oregon. I see where this scam has occurred about a year ago and they were in a different country at the time. Basically was an add for a "free" 12 week English Bulldog puppy that was 12 weeks old and all it would cost me was $50.00

Thanks for contacting us about our puppy.Paris is a full blooded female English bulldog puppy.She is 12 weeks old.Paris is very intelligent and a very fast learner.She is potty trained and very friendly to kids and other pets.She is also current with all her shots (Distemper,Para Influenza, Boratella, Parvo and Hepatitis,Rabies shots etc)and will come along with all vet papers and toys.Many people are seeking to adopt her but we can not afford to give her to any person unless we are very sure that he or she can take proper care of her .We do not feel comfortable selling her .All we need for her is much love and care .
-Have you had this breed before?
-Do you presently have any pets at home ?
-Where are you located?
-Are you a God loving person and how can we be assured that you will take good care of our lovely baby?

We are sorry for asking many question.We just want to be very sure about who we are adopting Paris to.She is still available and we pray that she will move into a good home .We will miss her very much but our job is so demanding and we do not have much time to take proper care of her.We hope to read from you .Have a nice day.GOD BLESS YOU

Thanks for the mail once more.We knew from our prayers that God was going to make a good choice for Paris.Attached to this mail are Pari`s pictures.We are happy to read from you once more.We are also very happy to know that you are pet lovers and can take good care of Paris,we were just scared because we have read about some people that actually maltreat animals for pleasure in the name of bloody dog fight games or for animal experiment purposes .My family and i are in Mexico city , Mexico on a missión trip .we work for the Baptist Mission and our job is very demanding making it difficult for us to care for the puppy .She will come along with all vet papers and a one year health guarantee.We do not feel comfortable to sale her but If you are willing to take care of the change of ownership papers and we can have her ship to you or better still you can fly to Mexico and pick up Paris .If you dont feel comfortable to take her let me know immediately and so i can adopt her to another family.We hope to read from you.Have a nice day.GOD BLESS YOU.

Email when I start to question them more about pet scams via the internet & how I would not wire money Western Union but would use a bank account instead:
I am happy to read from you.We have trusted to adopt Paris to you and we also expect maximum trust and appreciation from you.We are more concern that Paris should move into a caring home and you have gain our trust on that.I know they are many evil people that will try to extract money from innocent Christian but i know that by the grace of GOD they will all be tracked down .Drop not your faith for the lord will not forsake you .Hold firmly to your faith and Jesus Christ will always guide you through. Faith is not believing that God can.It is knowing that God will. I WILL PRAISE THEE,O LORD, WITH MY WHOLE HEART; I WILL TELL OF ALL THY MARVELOUS WORKS.PSALM 9:1 . Proverbs 3:5-6 i "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. ""I will sing of the Lord's great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations." -Psalm 89:1.You can not use some few evil people to judge every person .I can assure you that you will receive Paris safely as planed.I am a God fearing person and will not sale my soul to the devil just because of money .If you dont feel comfortable to have the transaction done let me know immediately so that i can adopt her to another home .All we will need is the change of ownership papers and so we can book a flight for Paris. The original papers will come along with her. Please i will not want her to be kept long at the airport so you will enable to be at the airport on time. I will get to you with all flight details as soon as i am completed and so you can know exactly when she will be arriving.Do let us know as soon as you are ready to wire the money and so we can get her over.We know that you will be so excited when she arrives. At this point I knew it was a scam & people are sick and twisted to use the word of God to steal from people.
