Hello,
This week I almost got scammed by this lady called CoCo , she seemed to be nice and freindly and informed me that she has a couple of African gray parrots for adoption and not for sale. We were going on exchanging emails and photos about the parrots and said she wanted nothing for her beloved ones more than a caring person. No personally charge to be done to her you will just have to pay the deleivey company and thats it.Well, let me tell you this, if it seems to be so good to be true, then its NOT TRUE. First, She informed me that the cost was $300 dollars for transporting them (How did she know it will cost that amount?), second, she said that she is based in a remote place in Saudia Arabia (Khamis Mushait) but looking again to the photos it seems that the photos were taken somewere in the US or Europe. Third, she said they were 9 weeks old, but again looking at the photos they seem to be much older. Finally, the big surprise comes when the deleivery agancy send you an email.Guess what..they ask you to make the payment ($300) via Western Union to a guy in CAMERON and to make you look stupid they ask you to" NOT SPECIFY THAT IT IS FOR A PET OR THAT YOU ARE PAYING TO A COMPANY BECAUSE A LARGE AMOUNT WILL BE CHARGED ON YOU IN SENDING THE MONEY YOU MAY INDICATE THAT IS TO A FRIEND" and by the way they also ask you not to pay by CR card because "this service is not available right now.Due to Hackers who hacked into our website and acquired clients credit card details as a result of the absence of our online web design technician who was on a sick leave. As a result of this We now recommend that the payment is to be done to Air Animal's developed 3rd party pet delivery service to the moving & relocation industry in CAMEROON"
Any way, I thank God I didnt fall into this scam and I have to always remember "THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH"
