English Bulldog poss scam

hello.

I was was in the process of possibly getting a English bulldog from someone who states he lives in north carolina. his cell 224 215 2917 (IL cell number.) he was going to ship the puppy over to me using Continental Airport - Cargo Air Freight Airline.

I received an email from this company but when I tried to search on the company names attached, the logo on the email I rec'd didn't match any websites. On the email, it states a phone number that linked me to your website (347-979-7304)

this sounds completely like a scam, and it even states the same pet's name that was on my email.

can you verify if it this is a scam. I've told the breeder what I found on the internet and explained to him, until I verify this is all real and not a scam he's/company is not getting a dime.

I wondered if the other person also rec'd the same info. here is the email information:

100% African pet scam.

There is no puppy, and there is no shipping service. There is only a scammer in Africa, using stolen photos and scripted emails, trying to con people into sending money on the premise that they are going to get an expensive puppy at an impossibly low price.

The exact same thing just happened to me. They used the same names for the dogs as well. Same number and everything with the the exception of a few variations on where they were located. They told me they were shipping the dog from Houston, TX via delta airlines and then I got a call from New York trying to get my CC#. The whole thing seemed fishy from the jump but I wanted to see it through just to see what would happen. This isn't a possible scam, this IS a scam. The phone number is a landline and I do not understand why these people haven't been brought to justice. If I can track it down to its absolute location there is no reason for them to not have been caught.

Unfortunately it is not a landline. It is VoIP, which means it could be answered from a computer virtually anywhere in the world, In this case, the location is most likely Cameroon or another African country.
