Thanks so much for replying my mail,I really do appreciate it,. I
would have loved us to see before making any plan but the distance
between us is the barrier,But will be okay if you can tell me more
about the place and you.More about me again i am into humanitarian
service..I am the neat type,I like honest,responsible,trustworthy and
hardworking people while I dislike lazy,messy,uncaring people and I

I grew up with my uncle...I ve dreamt to be a medical doctor but i

orphans,orphanages,heart related diseases in children between the ages
of 4-10yrs .Am sure You 'll really like the person that i am ,because
i will also do the dishing if you like,I work when i am to and relax
when i am to,I also like sharing my thoughts also....paying rent on
time will not be a problem as i will also be making the rent fee
before the month ends....So i decided to leave south Dakota as to know
how social workers there does and work with other social workers to
get more experience ,so i planned to move in by the availability of
the room..I'll also want to see more pictures of the place .
I must confess am comfortable with the price and I will want to secure
the place down before my arrival so i will want you to tell me all
about the place,as i can't see it before my arrival but the
pictures...I also will want you to know that i have my car that i will
be coming over with,and little of my belongings,please let me know if
there will be room for them..
With all that i ve said above,I have told you more about me and a
picture of mine will be attach in the next email,Let me also know how
i can go about securing the place down before my arrival as i will
also be busy from next week preparing to come over and let me know if
you can take off the ad off the site as i am going to secure the place
with a deposit.

First of all I'm pleased to hear that you didn't get caught out by this fake cheque scam.

As far as tracing the scammer and pressing criminal charges against him are concerned, the chances are next to nil I'm afraid. All the scammers listed in this thread are writing from disposable e-mail addresses, in any one of hundreds of Internet Cafes, and are in Lagos, Nigeria.

Catching Internet scammers is virtually impossible. They work out of Internet cafes with fake email addresses, typically in West African countries where law enforcement is weak and even corrupt.
Thet check is probably from one of his scam victims who think they have a legitimate job printing checks.

I hate to break the news to you, but "ayrewolf" is one of the biggest scammers out there. He posts false advertisements for jobs and such all the time. His latest antics, I have been told, were reported to the Idaho Attorney General's office for further research. His real name is Patrick Montgomery and he lives in Idaho. He is delusional and you cannot trust him.

If you don't believe me, just google search "ayrewolf" and you will realize what I am talking about. He has several blog pages describing numerous "projects" he has going and none of them are true. He depends on SSI income to get buy and has fantasies that are too numerous to list (like I said, google search his name and you wil see).

If you'll notice, he signed his post as "Col Montgomery, USMC NCIS". In fact, he has never served in the USMC, it's just another one of his fantasies.

Again, sorry to break this news to you, but I feel you should know. The endeavors of this forum are applauded, and I am happy to see persons out there who are trying to make a difference for those who are "truly" being scammed. But Patrick Montgomery is one to keep a wary eye on.

You can start by using this link to his blogspot.com page. He has a multitude of blogs pages here all describing his numerous fantasies. Some are viewable by invite only, but there are enough open to the general public that you will get the gist of what I'm saying.

If anybody was to do some searching on the content of the emails they will have a better chance of finding your warning as well as proof of your claims.

If you follow the link I provided, you'll see what I'm talking about. He doesn't scam, persay, the way this forum is intended follow. Instead, he scams on his sites about a room for rent, falsely advertising jobs for models, IT techs and such. I just wanted to let everyone here know about him because he replied to one of the posts that he too had been scammed. The fact of the matter is, he never intended to rent a room and he just jumped on your site to draw attention to himself. Like I said, he is delusional and will do damn near anything to get attention. All I am asking is for you to follow the link I provided above to his blogspot page, just to give you an idea of his state of mind. Believe me, if he ever posts about being scammed, it's not true. After all, how can you be scammed if your intentions were never factual or legal?

Below are some links to Craigslist ads he posted. They are all false. None of the companies he claims to represent exist (to my knowledge, and if they do, they are not associated with him in any way). He offers employment and payment for positions that don't exist--they are all in his mind.
If they don't show up as links, just paste them in your browser. Note, again, that these positions don't exist, he is simply delusional and uses avenues such as this to draw attention to himself and to make himself feel important. I can just imagine the conversations that take place when someone actually calls or emails him about one of these posts.
