Hello,
My name is Anthony and I wanted to give you guys hope and reassurance that we are on top of this scam. This guy has infiltrated every rental classified website that we are aware of, including Kijiji and Craigslist. Since the time he had tried to use our website we have implemented strict measures and security features to try and filter and illuminate scam artists from trying to scam our valued renters.
We also have on every ad a button called “Report this ad”. This sends a direct message to our admin department notifying us of a scam or fraudulent ad, where we can then investigate it quickly.
I hope this helps and I hope this encourages renters to use our website as we have taken the necessary steps in trying to protect our customers. Furthermore we still stress that it is important for renters to use their own judgment and common knowledge that if a deal looks too good to be true…sometimes it is. Also never send money through Western Union as that in its self should raise the red flags.
Good luck in your apartment hunting and if there is anything we can do to make this stressful time any easier please contact us.
P.S. it would be appreciated if you can remove our company name from this blog as it may send the wrong message that our company name appears in Google under a scam blog site. Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you,
Anthony S
